That's literally shown in the first five minutes of the first episode! I mean it's just stunning to think anyone wouldn't understand that. It's NOT hidden or something you're not supposed to know till later - it's the first thing they tell you about him!

the synopsis gave away the story. I'm glad I didn't know when I was watching it.
What on earth are you talking about? It literally says nothing that's not shown in the first episode. Both Li Xuan's and Su Youlian's identities are shown in the first episode, as are her reasons for entering the Academy. The synopsis doesn't say anything beyond that.

I finish this just in one day. Then I realized that I didn't skip but they did.I rewatch this again today and…
You watched 21 HOURS of content in one day? And you don't think that maybe you were watching an unofficial cut version or a highlight reel? And yet you think you can rate the show, when you didn't even watch it? (Or did you actually watch 21 hours of content in one day, which is just sad if true.)

Title Hidden Love
I wish they hadn't met when she was this young. Now that he's showing interest in her I can't help but see him…
What a weird take! They literally said she was 14 in the first episode when they met. He was in college, so probably 18-20. A 4-6 year difference is enough to make him a gross old perv in your eyes? LOL

I'm enjoying this series mostly because I liked the two in MYATB. But there's one thing that is still bothering…
Actually in China it's very common to wear the same outfit multiple days in a row. I haven't lived there since 2019 so I can't say it hasn't changed, but it was super common back when I lived there and before. They would wear the same outfit 2-3 days in a row at least.

It's on YouTube. Sometimes you have to switch the subtitles to British English for the timing to be correct, but it's still there. The only episode that's not is episode 11 - it's there, just no subtitles.

Why aren't the children given acting credits on this page? They were main characters just as much or more than Simon Chen / Ji Hong. I'm watching another show (Legally Romance) and thought a boy that appears in one episode might be the boy from this show but neither page gives credit to the kids!

Title Dear Mr. Heavenly Fox Spoiler
No to both. He is a fox.
You know what, I got further in the show and there are a few scenes in one episode where he has white hair and there's a fox that follows him around. It's not a big part of the show but that may be what you're thinking of.

Personally I hate finding out when songs are sung by him. It basically ruins the whole song for me. It's not normal for a man to be able to sing like that. Even Michael Jackson didn't sound 100% like a female (and, btw, MJ is my favorite singer by far.) I seriously feel like there has to be some sort of medical condition that caused him to not develop or something. I'm not saying he's a castrato - because I doubt there's anywhere in the world that still does that to kids. I don't think it would even be possible to do that to a kid and not have it found out at some point. But it's sure as heck not normal. I wind up hating the song every time I realize he sung it (which is why I didn't read the full article - don't want more songs ruined.)
On The Legend of Xiao Chuo Jun 17, 2022
I watched the first 8 episodes but put it on hold because I just couldn't get around the main actors playing characters that are supposedly teenagers when the actors are clearly in their late 30s on average, with some being early 30s, some late 30s and some even in their mid-40s. And they all look it - I actually thought the youngest IRL actress was older than Tiffany Tang, but turned out she is younger. Can anyone tell me if there's a HUGE jump forward in time? I kept waiting for it to happen but I feel like 8 episodes in, it should have already happened. I gave it as much time as I could. I just can't get into it because I can't suspend my disbelief.

I almost dropped it at the beginning for the same reason, but if you stick with it for a little longer it gets…
I stuck with it until episode 17. It did not get better. It has got to be one of the most boring shows I have ever watched.

Had to drop this one like 4 times..... It was just bland for me, not exciting, got bored I had to fast forward…
Did you rate it? I definitely feel the 8.7 rating this show has is way too high given how boring it is. The only thing that will bring the rating down is people reviewing/rating it.

I get the appeal and usually i'm the target audience for this genre but this didn't stick, I was on my phone half…
Why don't you write a review and rate then? I think this show's 8.7 is far too high given how boring it is. Only people rating it are going to bring it down.

Who sings the song during the closing credits? Or does anyone know what it's called?
On The King’s Avatar Aug 2, 2020
I'm watching on Netflix - I'm not too far in and I like it so far, but one thing that is really bothering me is the audio / speed. I've watched tons of Chinese dramas and know a bit of Chinese (lived there for a few years). I've never had such issues watching a show before! They speak so dang fast and even worse, the English translation is sometimes up for less than a second (not even kidding, it's like a game of reflexes just to be able to pause the video at the exact right time to catch a sentence that was only up for a flash so that I can actually read it!) Not only that, but there are times when I swear the audio is dubbed. I'll be watching their mouths and the way their lips are moving does not match the audio at all! Lips will close as if for a "b" or "p" sound, but the sound at that exact time is a "j" or "sh" (or something where you couldn't make it by closing your lips). I'm know it's normal to do some dubbing, but not to this extent.... Yang Yangs voice also sounds higher pitched than it did in Love O2O - that combined with the speed and everything else makes me feel like I'm watching it on 1.5x speed! Has anyone else noticed any of this? It's not nearly as enjoyable or relaxing of a watch for me because I have to keep rewinding 10 seconds and trying to pause at the exact right second to read a sentence I missed.
