what stopped them from giving our man a screen time at the very end when they were irl like wtf was that ending
they seem to do this a lot and idk why. It doesn't seem to improve the ending at all. More of an annoyance.

I actually liked the final scenes 'in game' but I agree it would have been nice to see him give her the pen. I also didn't see Mu Yao or Liu Fuyi but they showed a fairly long shot of Cui Cui and his grandfather so that was odd. You should have marked your comment as a spoiler too.

Ok so i watched it when it was airing, and i watched it mainly for dilireba and bin bin because i loved them both…
somewhat weird way is aka obsession/rape/stockholm syndrome. Romance is DEFINITELY not any of those.
