Personally, I really loved this show. Likeable characters, awesome graphics and a heartwarming plot about friendship and working hard to follow your passion. Would totally recommend it to anyone who's maybe on the fence about giving it a go!

The latter - we cannot put them together. If you're in the mood for romance watch Love O2O, if you're in the mood for a heartwarming story about friendship watch The King's Avatar. If you just want to see Yang Yang - watch them both!

Putting in my two cents: if you didn't like how the second part of this drama went down - give the WEBTOON a go - you may love it. :)

Honestly, I'm only just over halfway through this drama, but I am loving it so much. Everything is so well fleshed out, and the character development and growth is amazing to watch. Shout out to the top reviewers for convincing me to give this drama a shot, after I stumbled across it on netflix.

Definitely not. I'd say it's one of those dramas designed for a wide range in audience, and certainly not just for females!

So it's pretty darn superficial and doesn't all make perfect sense, but holy moly this drama is sooo cute! Time to put aside reality and start fangirling like a kid <3

Sure, it's a 'typical' revenge drama, but when 'typical' is executed so well... isn't that the reason we watch kdramas?

I'm having an absolute blast with this show. I think I'm just in love with all these characters. They may be a tad naive or silly at times (frankly, aren't we all?), but they're each so likeable and charismatic in their own way. Not going to lie - Ahn Oh Joo has slowly crept his way up into my favourite character list XD
