I have noticed that in kdrama, the parents would go ballistic when their daughters plan to divorce their rich husbands. They didn't care what the reason was - be it adultery or physical abuse. If you have watched kdrama Good Partners, there was such a heart-wrenching case.
I cannot stand the sight of scowling, materialistic Charim. She repeatedly told Taewoong that he was too poor to be her bf so she had to go on a date. Because of winning Charim's heart, Taewoong will try to force his way into wealthy Chairman Seungdon's family.
