Yes....there will be a few episodes of Darim resisting her romantic feelings for Gangju. Then what will happen....either Darim be fired or Gangju resign & pursue his own interests. It is going to be complicated. 😵‍💫

This has just come to my mind - Seungdon wanted all his employees to respect him because he wanted them to know that he is a respectable and fair-minded Chairman who would not hesitate to punish his stepson in such a cruel manner.

I am quite sure that Gangju would resign eventually and pursue his own interest in film-making. As for Taewoong....it is too early to tell. 😉

I am reeeally angry at Seungdon. There is no need to punish Gangju in such a humiliating way.
Like what the female team leader said - maybe it is because Gangju is not his biological son. So sad for Gangju.

Virtuous Business was indeed a good watch :
☆ first few episodes were very funny
☆ family issues of FL were interesting & infuriating
☆ mystery of Detective Do Hyun
☆ husband issue of Jeong Bok
All these matters kept me watching in anticipation.

But the last episode was a complete letdown.

After 4 years, were Do Hyun and Jeong Suk married & have a few kids?
Were Dae Geun and Ju Ri married & have a few kids too?
How did Jeong Suk get her business running again after the theft of their funds?

I hate hurried endings. 😬

I feel sick to the core as I watch Gangju sitting at a table being gawked at and gossiped about by everyone. This is 2024, how could the Chairman humiliate an employee in this way. There is no human rights at Jisung Group? 😠

Whoa! Gangju even knelt down and asked Seungdon for forgiveness. But Seungdon was not moved at all. Gangju should give a serious thought if he should continue living like that. He needs to be counselled because he does not seem to have any self-esteem anymore after being humiliated publicly by his stepfather.

He should resign and follow his dream and he has won an award too...maybe towards the end.

I love the way grandparents ticked Charim off - "...all this while, you called him oppa oppa. Now that you know he's rich, you want to be his girlfriend...."

Choi Tae Joon who plays Taewoong - his acting is so wooden and unimpressive as compared to Kim Jung Hyun who plays Gangju.

Taewoong absolutely was not shown to be in the know about the $800,000 eye surgery which could save Darim's eyesight.

Please try to refrain from reading comments because then you will lose the fun and excitement of watching each episode.

Although I am Chinese, I dislike cdramas very much. Can't stand the Chinese accent.

Agree Taewoong will be having a lot of screentime and become, as I have said in a comment 5 days ago, that he will become revengeful and bring down Jiseung Group or take over Jiseung.

He will also try to romance Darim just to take her away from Gangju. Gangju will be in a sorryful situation.

We will be watching
a lot of scheming and angst....a lot of DRAMA. 😉

I have just completed a 124-episode kdrama CHEER UP, MR KIM, and it was very good with high ratings frim Wikipedia.
BTW, 124 episodes of 30 minutes each. 😁

I have always loved long kdramas.

Some actresses or actors cry with their faces i.e. frowning, and loud gasping. That is real crying.

But I've noticed some cried without frowning without gasping and were able to read out their lines in
an even tone.

She was very flirty with him on the rooftop. So I thought no one knew - her mum and grandparents were surprised too.

Anyway, she will attempt to worm her way into his heart now. Hope he will be hard on her now. Don't know what's good about her that he was so smitten with her.

I also feel sorry for Gangju because I see him doing his best to protect and ensure the well-being of his stepfather as well as protect Jiseung Group.
Gangju scolded his mum when she shouted that she would call police when her $10million was stolen. That Jiseung Group will be in trouble as it would be linked to the undeclared tax of her $10million.

Even Gangju's female team leader said Seungdon was very harsh to him to make him sit near the office lift lobby. That it was because Gangju was not his biological son.
