Tbh, I was thinking Geum Hui's parents could have tried to kill her baby because they could not bear the shame of their unwed daughter being a mum. But it sounded too cruel so I refrained from mentioning it. I don't want others coming after me. 🤭🤭🤭
In China, during the one-child policy, many parents killed their baby daughters just to try again to bear son. It was sickening to read the baby daughters were dumped in drains.

My guess is that she never had a chance to raise her baby. Her parents must have forced her to give up her baby in an orphanage after the fire. The pain of losing her child was so painful that she never wanted to have another one for fear she might lose her child gain.
I think Geum Hui might have a teenage pregnancy like 17yo or 18yo and her family objected to her raising her baby. The fire could have been accidental and Geum Hui rushed in to save Do Hyun but was eventually forced to give up her baby. Just my thoughts....😉

Seong Hui was very ruthless and selfish. I thought she was in love with Juntae but she gaslighted him to the extent that he easily admitted to the police that he killed Min A when he did not do so. She acted pitiful, soft-spoken and gentle from Day One but her face changed completely to an evil witch when she strangling Min A. Yikes!
