This is drama and the characters are like puppets and their strings are pulled by the Writer.
The Writer is making Gangju foolish & Darim stupid and stubborn.

But, in real life, the ML & FL look good as a couple. That's just me. Don't be mad with me, ok? 😁

Contented & Grateful for warm family relationships are what I hope for the Lee family, Ji family & Nam (BBQ) family.

Tbh, I was one of many viewers who "Haha".

But after giving us the "Haha" and coming up with such a storyline, I feel that the Writer has the responsibility of informing the viewers that if anyone discovers a huge sum of money, he should inform the police. I am quite certain the Writer will do so towards the end of the drama.

As for the drama, it will be painful to watch the grandparents (one needs cancer treatment) to be jailed. So my guess is that they will lose all the money and will realise that it is wrong morally and legally to take, keep and use it.

Agree! Charim puts herself on a high pedestal. She had the nerve to tell Darim that Taewoong is too good for her so they are incompatible. 😆😂🤣
So she is very compatible with Taewoong???

My wish is for Taewoong to realise that he is totally unsuitable for fashion design. And he will resign while Gangju will be reinstated.
I would also like Seungdon, Jiyeon, Gangju & Taewoong to live together in the last episode.

You said Miyeon would not return the money to her parents even if they were on their deathbed but why Gangju returned HIS MUM'S MONEY?!

Reason is his love for Darim has blinded him. Remember how he gazed at Darim's wailing at the hospital when Grandpa collapsed.

Yes! As I have written, why didn't Gangju explain that it was Darim who sold the clothes? I guessed he could have explained but no one believed him. In that scene Granny said Gangju must have "seduced" Darim. 😂😂😂

And after being accused and scolded and hit in the head by THE THREE THIEVES, Gangju suddenly wanted... no, insisted on kissing Troublemaker Darim.
Do you know that after that scene ended which was the end of episode 24, I actually sat and said to myself "What was that? Gangju did not scold Darim for selling the clothes but insisted on kissing Darim?? That was insane!

It is really the Writer's doing. Why write Gangju character as so soft-hearted to the point of sheer foolishness.

Earlier, I wrote that "Gangju was nothing but kind and compassionate." That scene at the end of episode 24 made me take back my words. 🤨😑

If Bong Hee lacks money for Granny's cancer treatment, Taewoong has already offered to pay for it.

How could Miyeon not see the locker notice? She is an airhead so whatever she has stolen will be cheated by someone or gambled away. 🫣
I hope Murim will never find out the truth of the money because he is righteous and will not hesitate to report his mum & grandparents. If they begged him not to do so, he will be filled with guilt and eventually resign and even divorce because he cannot face his wife and MIL.

I think that Grandparents & Bong Hee will not be jailed for taking the money in the mountain because the money under the mattress will be completely stolen by Miyeon. Right now, no one knows that she knows about the money under the mattress.

If Miyeon squandered all the money, then there will be no proof that Grandparents and Bong Hee ever possessed the money. There is no proof that the money Miyeon squandered belongs to Jiyeon too because they have all been removed from under the mattress and she deposited them in her bank account.

They are no longer in bundles of AA and running series as they will be mixed with other bank customers' money. So Jiyeon's money will become untraceable.

Unless Miyeon continues to keep some bundles in the locker. But she will be caught in the CCTV and questioned by the police about the money. If Miyeon told the police that she found the money under her parents' mattress, there is no proof and as the relationship between her parents and herself is already lousy, they will deny there is any money. Miyeon may have to be jailed.

I think the Lee family will not be holding a single won of Jiyeon's money in the end.
The Writer has to send a message to the viewers that it is punishable by law to take, keep and use unknown money.

Actually I can't imagine how the money issue will pan out. I don't want the grandparents and BH to be jailed. Granny needs to have cancer treatment. Grandpa has a weak heart now. Maybe BH will offer to be jailed if it comes to that.

There is ONLY ONE WAY for grandparents & BH not to be jailed. The money under the bed will be gone....maybe completely stolen by Miyeon. Right now, no one knows that she knows about the money under the bed.

I don't think Bong Hee will move in with Seungdon & Taewoong. Jiyeon will move in.

In one of my earlier comments, I predicted that Seungdon, Jiyeon, Gangju & Taewoong would live together towards the end of the drama. Just my wild guesses.

Oh! I remember clearly that Jiyeon did hand the divorce papers to Seungdon at home and he nonchalantly signed it. Then she & Gangju moved out.

For comedic reasons, I think Taewoong & Gangju will fight over Jiyeon's attention.

Don't you think that 36 episodes is not working well. At least 40-42 episodes so that the story will not end hurriedly.

A few months ago, I watched an old 124-episode kdrama CHEER UP, MR KIM and right now a 100-episode kdrama. Each episode is about 30 minutes. Both are very good family kdramas. 😁

My favourite characters are the Grandparents.

Joe, I have actually avoided supernatural dramas but I fell for Moving and Twinkling Watermelons because there was nothing good to watch at that time.

BTW, I only watch Korean dramas.
My favourite genre since I first started watching kdramas is Family. But I do not watch all Family dramas.

I passed these kdramas largely due to my dislike of the cast and secondly the storyline:
1) LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE
2) UNPREDICTABLE FAMILY
3) MY MERRY MARRIAGE
4) THE APPLE OF MY EYE

That's why I am coming to the end of a 100-episode family which is a very good watch - THE RICH FAMILY'S SON.

Moving was exciting and refreshing supernaturally with the young cast. But it was also very violent and gory. I cringed at the first violent scene and thereafter fast forwarded most of the violent fight scenes. I endured the violence for Han Hyo Joo & Handsome Zo In Sung.

I may have to pass LIGHT SHOP.

That Miyeon said she wanted to steal 1 million or 2 million and then run away. Notice she did not mention her young son who was the one who unwittingly gave away The Three Thieves' secret.

Murim will never find out the whereabouts of the money because he will absolutely report The Three Thieves to the police as he seems like a righteous cop.

But I am pretty sure The Three Thieves will not be jailed. It's just my gut feeling. 😉
