When I'm watching dramas, the characters are one of the most important things for me as I'm deciding if I want to continue watching or not. How would you describe the main characters? I'm worried about the "overbearing male lead" tag, and I know that male leads tend to be arrogant and rude - it's a common trope. And for female leads, the clumsy but happy and determined trope is very common. How would you describe the characters? To what extent do they stick to these tropes?
I am on Ep 2 and its not grabbing me. So excluding FL, should I continue?

A LIttle Thing Called First Love is really cute, and I love the characters. Not too much angst, light-hearted, but also isn't too steryotypical, especially in the characters.
Detective L isn't a light comedy exactly, but it's not a total police drama either... I found it pretty cute, I mean, besides the murder. The characters have nice chemistry with each other.
I really liked Jiongmin's character! He was kinda aloof, but also nice, a bit cute, and gentle!! That's what I look for in a male lead! but male leads are usually completely aloof and cold ( at first) ahhhh
