God same. Ive read reviews saying that this is a good drama but a game plot always stop myself from watching it
the game portion is only for the first bit, and then they get more into other plot elements. I liked it regardless, and I think it's worth a try, but if that's a big thing for you, maybe this drama isn't for you.

I suspect the movie is popular and rated highly due to the popularity of the leads.
they actually have pretty good chemistry with each other, and there aren't annoying plots like love triangles or stupid misunderstandings. the romance is cute and well written in my opinion, and the last few episodes are especially fluffy.
