one of the healthiest relationships I've seen in dramas

I will admit, I skipped a lot of the science and gaming parts, they got kinda long for me, but I loved this drama!

it's certainly worth giving a try. I like all three

I enjoyed this one. the main characters don't annoy me, at least not as much as most main characters in Chinese dramas do. I think this one is more generally about drama than eSports. eSports is more like a setting, and something they focus on a lot, but I doubt it's genuine. I enjoyed it, but I also don't know anything about eSports. xu kai did a great job in this drama. I do kinda wish the female lead would smile more, because we see her pouting a lot, but we don't see her appreciatating the ml with a smile on her face very much. it's not a huge issue tho

I think certainly, it can be a bit harmful, but I don't think it's that bad. the character seemed to be okay with it, and sometimes subtitles don't do justice. I think the term they used most of the time was 小胖 or little fat, I think. 小 just means little and is used in a lot of other cute nicknames. I also don't like that he was often the butt of a joke, and while he seems to be more fat than the rest, he's really not all that far. I watched like 28 episodes and I think it's something small enough to overlook

I recommend Chef Hua if you want a good drama!

if you want a cooking drama, I highly recommend Chef Hua. good cooking scenes and still romance

check out Chef Hua! it has much better writing and characters imo, and there's a cooking scene in every episode! such a good drama!

ones where i liked the main leads: Love me if you dare, Detective L, A Little Thing Called First Love, and then some where it's been a while but i think they were decent: The Legend of Hao Lan, Fights Break Sphere, Sm:)e, Court Lady, The Story of Minglan, My Fantastyic Mrs Right, mengfei comes across, Love is all, put your head on my shoulder, the love equations, sweet tai chi, youth.. hopefully that's helpful :) I haven't been watching many lately though

i still think that the fl in ALTCFL has a better personality than many fls, but I'll agree with you on that one. I feel like Chef Hua still holds up tho

It's been a couple of years since I watched it, but I remember the ending being about what you said above... I remember the ending being very stupid, and I don't accept it in my personal cannon.... it was like stupid, like, they couldn't be together for a stupid reason... I remember most of the drama being pretty good except for the ending

dude I feel you, I specifically look for dramas where the main characters aren't idiots, and I've found some. chef hua is good, love 020 is good, and there's a new drama with Leo wu from 2022 that seems promising. if you want, I can recommend a few more
