The flows are noticeable.
Messy storytelling: heavy reliance on flashbacks after flashbacks, dream sequence after dream sequence, weird inserts of "beautiful visuals" in- between scenes that broke the flow of the story. Instead of adding depth, the storytelling actually felt cluttered and disjointed. The conversations were the biggest issue for me as they often abruptly shifted between serious tones, to sudden humours, to sudden emotional outbursts - all this in one scene! This made me feel like I was watching a parody. Non-stop OST: music was constantly playing in the background which pissed me off big time. At times, it seemed like the director didn't trust the actors to land their jokes, so he relied on comedic background music to tell the audience when they were supposed to laugh.
