I know what you think, but still I think when a young girl with the same features watches this, she will have a questions about her looks. And I personally think stylist will straight her hair and put on make up in the progress, so she "won't look ugly", even thought it's not ugly at all. I can't judge by th first episode, let's see what will bring s another one.
Also - I totally agree with your commen above :))!
Some short thoughts: For now, the only thing I don’t like about She Was Pretty; Why are “big hair” and red cheeks considered as ugly in the drama? I like how members of The Most team saw her skills instead of her looks. :)) For those who also don't like Siwon; he's one of those annoying characters, but he's gonna be just second male lead, don't worry and watch this :)).
I hated how badly Cha Hyeon Seok treated Ha No Ra at the first (I think it lasted for 2-3 episodes). There was no excuse for that. It was selfish and very traumatic for NoRa. I know this possession of “hate-love” relationships in dramas, but this one was just too much for me. I usually don’t pardon this lead male way of acting, but now I’ll make an exception, because he learnt that he made a mistake and tried to make up for that even it was mainly because of her health. Well, he knows he was wrong and he sincerely apologized.
The most interesting thing is the progress Ha No Ra is going through. She’s building her self confidence once again after years when she was banned from speaking up or even thinking. She’s becoming an independent and strong woman!
I’m looking forward more scenes when she’s building relationship with her son and class mates and those two lovers (Kim Woo Cheol and Kim Yi Jin) to suffer even more.
I loved the movie! Funny and I didn't feel bored at all. There's no drama or unexpected ending. Just a comedy about young boys that are not sure about their future.
How it was said, there's no hidden deep message. But if you like spicy scenes that mainly focus on women's pleasure/satisfaction, I think you'll like this.
I'm not fan of J-dramas but this one changed my opinion. What a brilliant drama! It portrays struggles of Japanese women very well. The acting was really good (unimaginably higher level than it other dramas I saw). We can see everything, heartbreaking story, developing characters, strong female lead. Just go watch this!
This drama is really great so far. If you want something easy, romantic. It's stereotypical so don't expect so much. But I enjoy every ep when I'm tired and have no energy to do anything else. Each ep seems to be just a few minutes long. (11th ep)
