Welcome to the asian drama world. I've been here for the past 9 years and I haven't managed to gain self-control what so ever and I don't think I ever will XD I'm always watching several dramas at once. Mainly if I like one actor/actress, I watch all of their dramas and movies. Can't help myself lol.

If you like telenovela like dramas then you'll probably like it. The ending is good, which makes it better but what's in the middle is crazy. I don't mind if the main characters have to overcome obsticles to be together, but what's was happening in this drama was beyond crazy lol.

Yes, but at the very end. It has 60 episodes, so it's quite a ride full of missunderstandings, stupid but seriously stupid decisions and chinese overdubbing. I watched it for the main male lead who is my favourite actor but it was sooo hard for me to watch it and it was just making me angry most of the time. Sometimes it was cute and nice but then they came with all the drama and it turned horrible. Just my point of view though. You should watch it and make your own opinion about the drama :)
Did I understand correctly that there were many evidence against the killer and they even found a shirt with bloodstain of the victom, but because he didn't say anything years ago and now too, he was released? Like I'm curious if that's how it works anywhere or just Japan. I mean if the perp doesn't say anything they should go to prison.
Agree. I hated Shunji though. But it was interesting to see the opposite character development for these two guys. And…
If you mean the year 2012 then not many. Only A gentlemen's dignity and Arang and the magistrate. I like year 2016, because it there were so many amazing dramas airing. And if you think the period of the drama like 1900's then I've heard a Mister Sunshine is great. Otherwise I don't think there are many dramas from this historical period.

It was sad to watch him turn into bad guy. The ending was awful and nobody really had a happy ending. But the period was interesting. Watching Korea being between the old and new world. Btw do you know which year it was? If it was in the drama mention then I must have missed it.
I'm so torn with this drama. I did love it, even though yes the acting was cheesy in parts and the story was sometimes…
Agree. I hated Shunji though. But it was interesting to see the opposite character development for these two guys. And I wanted to give high rating but I couldn't because of THAT ENDING. I mean come on, why??? Also partialy because of the count, his voice was one of the most annoying thing I've heard. But Kim Jeong Nam as countess was super hot, so thumbs up for her.

That year was amazing. So many good-quality drama was aired. I like to watch these old dramas sometimes, but the plot, twists and craziness is sometimes too much. But what I really can't stand are weak female leads. I came here for Kim Jeong Nan, because she is a great actress, but it's too much.
Saw the first 9 episodes and skipped to the end because i didnt liked the way ML sister plot was going and i needed…
Unfortunately this is quite typical for older dramas and movies. And they are full of craziness and weird plot. Kinda like korean version of telenovela.:) They are some older ones with great plot and strong female lead but maaaan, most of them feature absolutely weak women with no self-respect, who ended up with men who cheated on them or chose their family over them. That's why I overally watch dramas around the year 2016 and newer, except for some exceptions.
SO I watch the first few episode and I from just that I felt worried about this show so I looked up this show…
I watched this drama only because of my favourite actor Tse Kwan Ho (the uncle of ML), but damn this drama managed to piss me of fr the beginning to the end and omg the END. Like I've never seen a drama with soo many bad developments and unnecessary deaths like this one. It had potential but the writer had to be totally high when writing the scenario.
Very underrated. Nam Goong Min brillant as always and I loved the rest of the cast as well. Both good guys and bad guys were amazing. Season 2 is a dream.
The best part was Hwang Jae Min. His scenes were sooo funny. Kim Min Sang is damn good actor. I hope for season 3 just to see more of Hwang and for the sake of closer.
Just finished. I loved it so much. It's a truly a gem of Chinese dramas. Though I loved the Korean version more because I really adored 4th prince played by Lee Joon Ki and I cried like a baby at the end. But at the end of the Chinese version I also shed a few tears.
