only best part of this drama - Mo tae gu aka kim jae wook - his firm, natural expressions of a psychopath played to perfection, his voice I LOVE, i even felt sad at his ending, it made me question that even if he was cruel - who made him this way? seeing his father kill made him into a monster
the drama however lacked logic, constantly one can see how slow the police officers are, lee ha na's hearing ability was of no use, even when she hears them she's not able to save herself or those that needed help
all jang hyuk does in this drama is swear at his surrounding officers and mo tae gu however him crying at the end made me felt sad :(
THANK YOU FOR THIS ARTICLE! cause of this he's now my fav actor! i love him so much, his ability to show versatile roles and expressions such a natural actor i can't stop watching some of his drama scenes on repeat, he just has those eyes and his voice that keep you hooked
Pygmalion's love and Antique are now 2 of my favs, his acting is so so beautiful
BEST MIXTURE OF ROMANCE, HISTORY, CINEMATOGRAPHY, ACTING THE PACE!
Literally every time i watch this show it gives me chills, the fabulous instrumentals- Gesture of Resistance, Prince of sorrow, Appassionata, Davichi all masterpieces!
Lee joongi and IU were brilliant! their chemistry gave me chills and at the same time the pain and their sweet moments
IU you were fabulous in this! your transformation from a young lady frustrated with difficulties to a naive girl during Goryeo times to a mature court lady were so beautifully portrayed
this drama literally takes me back in time, i feel like i have gone back to Goryeo times, the gorgeous cinematography , the scene in ep 20 when time is going back with the eclipse wahh well done!
Only one thing i wish i could change in the storyline - wang so promises hae soo that he will never leave her but he does so in the end and he even says that hae soo was the one who has left him when infact it's he who tells her to leave. Hae soo was ready to tell him very early on in the drama that she was with Wook but he himself says that he will kill the person she's with and also she stays committed to wang so after wook leaves her so it didn't make sense for the director to have wang so leave hae soo, i wish they both ended up together or atleast hae soo dies in his arms
gosh wang so's parents waah their acting was so good and i loved the court lady! however Wook is a character who can't be called a second lead , he literally betrays hae soo
Overall a masterpiece, everything was epic from the osts to the acting to the balance of history and romance

I agree with the repeated scenes of the lead's childhood and hope Jin ki joo gets to show more emotion, she's definitely a fab actress, let's hope it gets more interesting

mika still likes gyeon as in the end even after finding out that gyeon sees her Hyeojin, she still accepts gyeon as she has spent great times with him and even in the end i remember she thanks him indirectly front of the statue for spending good time with her
about the statue scene when gyeon kisses the statue i just wanna say its the best scene of the movie as that statue is of Mika (cause of the short hair) and when he kisses the statue it implies that he will always love mika and always will be by her side:)
Guys please don't be discouraged by the negative comments, not at all confusing, this story is directed so beautifully kudos to the director!
Jaewook in particular oh gosh i had tears in my eyes after watching this movie, especially the ending scene, he acts so naturally in whatever role he takes, its as if he's blended himself into that role and breathes that character- his natural emotions from enjoying time with a loved one to having tears in his eyes at the thought of losing his loved one - portrayed so elegantly im speechless
this movie is a perfect mix of cute and sad moments and one of jaewook's best piece of art I will say
So excited! i hope this drama doesn't do jae wook dirty, he deserves so much better. He deserves so many awards. His wide range of roles and expressions honestly makes him my fav actor
and guys please see his other works of you haven't - two of his movies were just wow and underrated- Antique Bakery and Pygmalion's love- his acting was just so beautiful in both links below if you guys need them
one name - park bogum THAT MANZ CAN ACT his wide sense of expressions, his versatility in roles, how he changes from one smile to a creepy haunting expression yes he does that so effortlessly in this drama i just love this guy and overall this drama is the best crime +psychological drama ive seen- how it connects various disorders to the main characters background just love it
really enjoyed the first 2 episodes! yes jung eum suits serious roles better but im not gonna lie both nam goong min and jung eum made me laugh plus the side characters- ngm's employee and the lady jung eum goes to get a memberships from the middle-aged lady scenes are funny too. guys dont get discouraged by the negative comments
