On episode 14 right now and I gotta give props to Huaijinš, even though heās on the opposition, I guess heās thinking of the bigger picture (?, correct me if iām wrong). And I also love the parallelism between the Meng siblings and Jiang siblings. Bother brothers have been imprisoned, and both sisters are in a live or die state in the Shen Residence. It's good to see it.
So far epsiode 10, the crown prince is just not giving. He goes acting like he has everything under control, and the moment it doesnāt he goes to Huaijin. On the other hand, Huaijin is a smart character, I just donāt see or get why he is so opposed to chancellor Shen (maybe because of his treacherous actions or because of his family circumstances), I donāt know. Them two vibes are just not giving (lowkey giving lover vibes, not complaining tho hahah), might as well let Huaijin work with chancellor Shen together. As for the crown prince, give him a more bigger ambition hahahaha. But those are my thoughts so far, I hope it gets betterš¤

You should give it another try. I especially love the tension in the first few episodes and thatās what got me going. In the later episodes, itās where it gets more romance between the two leads.
