I only watched The Outlaws, adding the rest on my list! This is really random but I would recommend Hot Young Blood, Midnight Runners, All about my wife and Love 911
Excuse me if I am being rude, but how is that a technical issue though? Maybe that was simply adopted into their…
I thought it didn’t fit the tone of the serie which is horror. Some scenes had great potential but were ruined by this song, I just couldn’t take it seriously. What I meant by technical is that it’s more an issue on the form of the serie rather than the substance
While I enjoyed both dramas, I think that AIB was objectively better since SH had some technical issues like the imagine dragons song playing over and over lol
Did you finish it? I also struggled at the beginning but it gets better and better and Personally Hyuk became my favorite after finishing the webtoon (didn’t like him at first too) and showing the MC as an angry teen is done on purpose, there is definitely character development
I'm confused about Jae Hwan. He noticed he's been infected for a while but he never changed into a monster or…
For Jae Hwan I don’t remember exactly but it might be that he didn’t have thoughts as dark as the other characters. Basically, the symptoms differ for everyone, and the moment you turn into a monster depends on your mental strength. It has nothing to do with a virus and is not contagious. In the webtoon they explain that you are infected when you have hidden desires inside of you that you can’t express and it is killing you to live with such frustration. Technically, these dark thoughts give birth to a monster which at this point is only a voice in your head that tells you to let go, if you accept then you will be living a peaceful dream forever but you’ll be gone. People who transform quickly didn’t resist much because their inner monster is really strong, meaning they have dark dark thoughts inside of them . Ultimately the voice becomes louder and stronger and it is really hard to resist it and after 15 days most humans turn into monsters. The main character has a strong monster inside of his head but he managed to stay human up until now which shows how mentally strong he his.
Very entertaining, I enjoyed watching it and I can’t wait for season 2. My only complaint would be the ost which was terrible, didn’t fit the drama at all
I agree with the multiple endings, although I loved the idea of Ben being a serial killer than no one but Jong…
Yes the multiple interpretations is indeed what makes it so interesting and leaves room to debate and discussion. Maybe there isn’t a « true » version and the viewer decides for himself? But I think that we shouldn’t lose track of the main ideas of the movie which according to me are toxic masculinity, sexism and women oppression amongst many others such as the gap between cities and rural areas in evolving societies,...
Love the article :)) (that Waikiki gif tho haha)! I can see that we all have the same frustrations, and I feel like the list could have been longer lol
Waw such a beautiful drama, the director should collaborate with Ai Yazawa for an adaptation of Paradise Kiss or Gokinjo, they have the same artsy vibe.
Can someone recommend me a well directed Japanese drama? I usually don’t watch jdramas but I really enjoyed this one, I also watched Erased on Netflix but that’s it. Can be any genre, just has to be well-made :)
