I like him precisely because he's not perfect! And I was going to ask you if there will be some development of his character, especially the family story, cause i'd be disappointed if there weren't, so thanks for telling me that! I can't wait to see more :D i just love the way he talks, the tone, the sentences and lol, he doesn't use honorifics, not even with elders xD
And Nagisa's parents, they're just LOL xD

Btw, I'm starting the marathon for the remaining Clannad episodes tonight :) I'm on the ep 13 and plan to finish it tonight! Can you recommend me some sad, good anime? It can be even the fantasy one, but to be mature and good :D I need something to cry :D

It's a bit weird drama though. But it's not bad at all. But It could be done better, since the idea is brilliant.
I'm not watching anymore like i used to, there was a time when i stayed awake for 3 days just to watch dramas and still have time to study - it was a time when sleeping was the most useless thing to do so i made myself to stay awake for days xD
now it's different, i can't watch continuously - i watch 3-4 days non stop (but i do sleep now :P), and then 15 days nothing xD

:D you should, definitely! I really want to find something, for my collection as well :D
I've seen him in Clone baby as well, but the rest of his drama do not seem appealing to me. Still, I might give them the chance, just for him ^_^

I've searched for some clips, but there isn't any clip of his acting out there.. unfortunately, his dramas aren't that popular (shame, cause Take Five is great), there are many fan vids though, but you can't see him acting.. also, if i send you some interview it's again different, because you can't see his sarcastic side :D I'll look for more, it'll be great if i can find some Take Five videos.

My internet connection was out yesterday, sorry for late replay :/
I've seen 10 episodes, It was really touching when Fuko's dream finished. I can't wait to continue! ^_^
Sato Takeru and Matsuzaka Tori :D lol they do look alike a bit and they do resemble Tomoya! So none of them would be a bad choice! But still, the resemblance of Tomoya and Tori is not only physical, their manners, behavior, the way of talking is similar. If you ever watch Take five, or any other Matsuzaka's drama, you'll see what i'm talking about :) If you don't mind minor spoilers, I can search for some videos on youtube from one of his dramas :)

I was thinking about the guy from MARS when i said he's not shy :D
Maybe I should rewatch Tatta Hitotsu no Koi now! I've seen it looong loong ago :D
I'm on the episode 5 now! I really really like it! Not only Tomoya, but everyone is kinda... special :D I even got used to the girl's eyes :D And I like the humor! It's somehow warm anime! And I can't rid of the image of Matsuzaka Tori from my head while watching Tomoya xDD

I'm still thinking about cool and shy guys now xD Have you thought about watching Buzzer Beat? You have a guy who Is somehow cool, but as far as I can tell a bit indecisive, scared to make some big steps and lacks a bit of self confidence. It's a simple love story - no rich/poor, no evil mother in laws, just 2 normal people who fall for each other and trying to pursue their dreams. I've seen it long time ago, but it was one of my favorite romance dramas.

:)) I don't think he's that shy, but he has some psychological issues, so he's not just plain cool guy. I like those with psycho problems xD they always leave me thinking about their actions.
I'm going to think about cool shy characters and if i remember any drama with similar type of character, I'll let you know!
Btw, I've started Clannad! I've seen only 2 episodes so far, but I like it, and I like Tomoya! He actually reminds me of one actor i really like, so if they ever make drama adaptation for it, i can't imagine anyone else to portray Tomoya except this guy http://mydramalist.com/actor/663/matsuzaka-tori the looks, the voice and the way he's talking... But there's one weird thing in anime though - all girl's eyes! they're just too big xD Anyway, I can't wait to continue!

Japanese is not that hard to learn, it's easy to speak and understand so if you still want to learn it in the future, when you get some free time, don't miss a chance!
I totally agree that it's over dramatic, that's actually the main reason I've stopped watching it. And true, the main guy it's just Ok, nothing special. But I did get to like the guy from MARS, Vic Zhou. Maybe because of the character he portrayed. Mars is probably the best Taiwanese drama I've completed (and I've completed 3 xD lol) it has good characterization, the story is nothing special.

Yep, the kanji... the problems :P But there are also some of them having different meanings in Japanese, although they're the same as Chinese. Also, some Japanese kanji have more than 4 or 5 readings, it depends of combination. But I suppose you can understand a lot just by looking at them, if they aren't mixed up with hiragana.
I've actually completed few Taiwanese dramas, some of them were good, some of them average, but even the good ones lack something that J or K dramas have. I also started Autumn's concerto, I've seen 6 eps i think, but that's it, i probably won't continue xD and that's supposed to be one of the better dramas form Taiwan. I might sound bad, but i get that cheep feeling, like the budget is limited :/

It's far from brilliant, but hopefully I'll keep improving :) What I want to study next is Osaka dialect, I've been hearing it a lot in movies and dramas lately and I can't really keep up with it. And also, I'd like to improve my Korean as well, since is far worse than Japanese.
Haha, just keep watching, after some time you'll get to understand much more! You'll even start to speak a little :)
You can read kanji characters, right? I'm having a trouble memorizing them and after 4 years of studying i still haven't found a proper way to learn them. It's hard since i don't use them so often :/
I know the feeling, I haven't seen any Hong Kong drama or movies, but I've tried Taiwanese dramas and it doesn't feel the same. K and J entertainment are different definitely.

Hmm, I can understand lyrics when i concentrate on it and not completely, but lyrics are often hard to understand, especially Kagrra's songs, since they're often using some archaic words. However, I don't need subs when I'm watching dramas. It depends on drama - but let's say I can understand 80% of the sentences per episode. There are some themes I'm still not good enough with, for example medicine, economy, politics, but if it's life, romance, or even crime and psychology I can understand it well. I've learned tons of new phrases and words from dramas. I can easily say they're more useful than college :D however, I'm still lacking at writing :/

I don't avoid remakes, but I do like the first ones more.I think that's kind of normal, since at that moment, when you first see it, it's new and fresh. However, after some time i don't mind seeing the remake, but only when i forget the details of the previous drama.I don't mind if it's a bit dragged, but not too much. I've actually completed a 159 or 158 episodes long drama without any hardships, but i avoid pathetic things, with too much crying and useless drama and i can't stand shallow comedies... well, i think that's pretty much it. I'm pretty much flexible so I can finish many things, even if i don't like them that much, but genre i most enjoy is psychology and life/friendship dramas. Also, romances, but if they're not cheesy and full of cliches. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDyvcjLvXwY this is my favorite jrock group and favorite song of theirs, if you want, listen to it :)

I really hope you'll like pride, since it's realistic and natural, that's the main reason i loved it. Also, I hope you'll get over your irritation towards Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young, since they aren't that bad. I understand people are split into the Lee Min Ho hype fan group and haters group, but If you look at them objectively they aren't that bad! I'm going to finish Two Weeks soon :) I love Jun Ki so I'm sure I'll like it, but I've seen Japanese drama Runaway Aisuru kimi no tame ni, and it's similar, so I'm afraid i'll compare to it. Runaway was really amazing, so it might be hard for me to get to like 2 Weeks that much.
Thanks, my nick is actually the nickname of my bias, I was actually surprised it was available when i typed it :D

I've seen both anime and Death Note movies, and believe me, it's one of the better adaptations, so i think it's worth watching. If you avoid it because of that, then I think you should give it a try when you get in the mood for that.
I'm going to start Alone in love soon ^_^! Maybe it'll be my next drama, but now I need a few days drama break.
