Yep, I've seen Jin 1, but Jin 2 is unofficially on hold :D I like it, but I need to get the right mood to continue with it :)
I really liked Time Between Dog and Wolf, Sunao ni narenakute and Bridal Mask, as well as Nodame - they're all in my top..well, 10-15. And I see you're watching Pride and City Hunter - how do you like them so far? They're also great ^_^

Umm, I'm not sure what to recommend, cause no movie left such an impact on me as 3-iron. Like i said, i don't really like the movies I've seen so far, except Liar game The final stage, which is actually continuation of drama. Also there's Death Note, but again, there's anime as well, so you can't really say that it's movie on its own. Beck as well - there is Anime, but I haven't seen it and i liked the movie, but it's nothing that special to recommend. That's why when it comes to movies, you better ask Knight, now he and you are my movie recommendation sources :D but I'll be the source for drama recs, if you get to like what i recommend you :)

No seriously, I wish I could actually say precisely how I feel, but I'm really speechless. I didn't expect to see what I've seen in that movie. Such a beautiful story is told without words. Of course it's art! And I'm inspired! I'm all for words, I'm a linguist and I really like to see beautiful sentences and great screen writing in any language, any movie, any drama, but this is just priceless. Whoever in any moment thought about being movie director/producer definitely should watch this movie. And the end... again, speechless. And the scene she's telling him that she loves him and kisses him behind her husband's back... just... oh, forget it, i just can't express it well enough in any language :D

I don't remember even an 1/3 of hype while Faith was airing. Seriously, I don't think anything can compare with Heirs. Well, there are Woo Bin's fans as well. I like them both, they are both cute and talented, but still, how can an obsession over an actor create such a fuss - look at the statistics - people completed, dropped, put on hold or currently watching Heirs. I just want to find and observe those people to find out how their brains work. It might sound mean, but I really do want to know what's the cause of that, and generally the cause of the change that happened in Asian drama fandom.
Thank you for reading my review! I'm sure you'll love this drama, it's warm and natural and Orange days is already in my ptw! And I've just finished 3-Iron! WoW, just WOW! It's an art! 1000x thank you for recommending it!

But it's weird though xD I don't remember any other drama having such a hype before xD I think the new generation of drama addicts is much more biased than the old generations. Not only because they're younger, but also it feels like something else changed. I mean, 4 years ago, I was younger and many other people around me were younger, but it was different. And I also think that the change that happened involves the spreading of Kpop wave. But still, I want to give it a try. It does not necessarily mean that it'll be bad. If it is, I can always drop it.
I've just completed Take Five. It was interesting, not special, but great theme, great acting and worth watching :)

Good, I see we share some tastes, I also like mature themes, but I also have seen many popular dramas as well, especially when I first started watching dramas. There are few who deserves that popularity, however, most of them are overrated because of eye candies xD Lol, Lee Min HOT fever xDDD I might watch it, but I'll wait until it's completely aired probably and ofc I'll tell you the unbiased opinion xD

I always wanted to live outside of my country xD or to have two nationality :D well, I'd have two native languages that way :D
Now when you mentioned it, I haven't met any East-Asian people here either. It's a bit weird though. But I kinda understand. Many of them probably grew up watching dramas with their real life friends and family and probably don't feel the need to discuss about it the way we do. In Western countries, we are the minority, so we always look for more people who share the same interest as we do and since we don't have enough of those people around, we come here.
I know, majority are teens, but still, i know few older girls who look for the same thing. Or even worse, they won't watch romance dramas because they don't have enough of kissing scenes -.-
Oh, the hype. Look at the Heirs. They're seriously killing my desire to watch that drama.

True that, for someone it might be silly choosing your career because something like entertainment, but I'm fulfilled and I think I will love my job.
Have you always lived in UK?
I was alone in this, at the beginning, but I've discovered that someone of my college friends also share the same love for dramas. Also, I've met many people online who are from Serbia, and also Asian drama fans, one of them became my best friend actually. It's good to have someone to discuss with, but I prefer to watch dramas alone. I don't know why, but it feels better that way. And also, even if we are both Asian drama fans, we usually watch different dramas. Most of people around me are kpop fans and all they do is looking for another drama with some of their Idols, or eye candies. It's good to see a good looking actor, but that's the least important thing in drama, if you ask me :D

I'm out of characters again, I can't write comment without editing it after all xD
I also had no idea that Asian dramas existed. And also what made me like them is the concept - they're short, and differently done than western stuff. And thematic is really great. They're interesting and informational, many of them have great messages and they're showing the culture and amenities pretty well. So it wasn't hard for me to get hooked :)

The first Asian drama I've ever completed was Hana Yori Dango and like yourself, I had it downloaded on my pc for a long time. Not because it was that great, but because it was a special memory of my beginnings, I had no crushes from that drama - nor any other at the beginning, because I had a really long lasting crush on one Jrocker :P (well, i have another one now, also Jrocker :P so actors can't really make me excited xD they can, but it doesn't last long xD)
I agree about the osts, they do bring back great memories, however, for me, Jrock brings...how should i put it - not only the real life memories, but also the feelings i have towards Asian culture. And since I've decided to dedicate my career and pretty much whole life to Asia, those feelings are pretty deep. It also brings out my artistic side. Their music is quite inspirational. Especially my favorite band, Kagrra.

I get addicted to things quickly as well :D dramas, many kind of games, music, it can be anything :)
I don't remember my second Koran drama though but precisely that drama, Winter Sonata was the first drama one of my close friends watched, and she recently recommended me. When I saw it, like you said it was full of cliches, but people do get attached to the things they try first, because when it's first, it's new and different. So hopefully, you'll enjoy what's up :)
I mostly listen Jrock, but like you said, I do collect drama ost that i liked, so I'm open for many genres of music. But Jrock is something i like the most, it was the thing that actually got me into Asian world. How about you?

Yeah, there aren't many translated games around, but It's a great practise for me to read kanji, so I'm trying even if it's not in English.
It sounds great, but if it's for Nintendo only, i've probably skipped it because of that.
Well, 'what's up' has better performances than songs, but there are few great songs as well. What i like the most is that 2 of the main guys, one teacher, one student are real musical actors, which makes their performances even more natural. Also, actors aren't that popular, but they're all talented! You're beautiful is my first kdrama, but i kininda don't think of it as a musical drama, there isn't that much music performances like here, in what's up.
I'm going to start Clannad tomorrow probably! :)
Lol, i don't think it's possible for me not to edit comment xD maybe type it in word and then paste it here xD

Really? I really like novel games. I haven't played many though but I've started few :)
Now i'm even more interested in Clannad ^_^
I don't know if you are into Kpop (i'm not, to be honest) but mostly all K musical dramas have that Idol concept, except what's up. It is more like a normal musical, of course, there are few pop songs, but it's still different than the other music dramas.
3-Iron, now I'm intrigued. :D I think i'll see that one first :D
Thanks for the tip! I often write long messages, so it's more than useful!

I'm out of characters, lol xD
About movies, hmm... I watch dramas much more than movies, as you can see in my list :) I like strong characterization and dramas are better in that, because there's much more time for character to develop and for me to get to like that character. So that's the main reason I watch dramas more. I also feel like most movies I've seen so far are incomplete somehow, but that's probably because I haven't seen the right ones :) So If you have something to recommend, tell me :)

No worries, I hate spoilers, so i won't look for them :D

Well, it is scary..I'm more worried than scared. What if I can't find a job? What if I'm not good enough? well, those kind of questions pop up in my head often :) but I'm also excited when I think about traveling and translating ^_^
'What's up' is really artistic drama. It's not perfect, but characters are great, and it made me really emotional. It's a special drama for me, like it was made for me :) The opinions I've heard about it are different. It's a musical drama, and if you ask me, it's the best musical drama i've seen so far.. or the most mature one. There's Dream High with the similar theme, but it's for younger audience, so those who liked DH usually don't like What's up that much. But why not give it a try, if you like musical dramas ^_^
I'm also going to start Alone in Love soon, but I need something Japanese now :)

Yep, I saw there's afterstory as well, thanks for telling me :) I'll start it soon!
Anyway, I hope some opportunity will come, after I finish college. I'm scared sometimes, but there's no use of being scared so i make myself stop xD
I'm rewatching What's up currently, It's one of my favorite dramas, but I've one episode left and the problem is what to start after :O
How about you, anything worth mentioning? Alone in love already planned, thanks to certain someone xD

I want to try Clannad, i feel like i might like it :) I'll tell you when i finish it, I'm pretty fast at watching so it won't take long from the moment i start it :)

Yes, I'm majoring in Japanese language and culture, but studies are more focused on language. My optional language is Korean, I've already finished the 2 year course in my university. I also speak Spanish and the unavoidable English, but I need to make it better. My native language is Serbian, not helpful at all in the world, so I want to know many other languages :D
I'd really like to be translator and I also want to connect it with media, if it's possible. I'd like to translate TV shows, movies, news, anything related to media. I'm still pretty bad at kanji, so books in Japanese are mission impossible for now xD
Wow, you're great! I think I couldn't handle such responsibility, especially with kids that young.

Monster, you say.. I'll check that as soon as I can. And also, Clannad, I'll give it a shot, as long is not based on fantasy only. Somehow, those pics on your profile are calling me :D
Nice, a teacher :) I might as well end up teaching, if I don't find some other job that involves translation. But I'm not good with kids xD I'm 23, still studying, senior year of Japanese studies.

I had the same problem with asiatorrents with my first account, so i understand you :P

I haven't seen Salaryman, but I got recommendation from guess who :P and now from you, so i'll be seeing it soon! I usually don't stick to my plan to watch list, nor i have some order in watching dramas, so everything is about mood ^_^
I suppose you started with anime first, right? I've been in this Asia entertainment world for more than 4 years, but I've barely seen 10 anime so far. It's not like I don't want to, it's more like i don't know where to start. I want a realistic story, no magic, no fantasy, something to think about later, when i finish it. I like good characterization better than good story. For example Bakuman - that's my favorite anime. The story was quite simple, but it was entertaining. If you have something to recommend, tell me, I want to watch ^_^
How old are you btw? :D
