This show has one of the best castings ever! Literally the cast is perfect! Especially, BWS and KHY - couldn't have asked for a better Seon Jae and Im Sol! 👏👏👏
What if this whole Seon Jae and Im Sol college era is actually just them acting in Im Sol's movie? Maybe that's how she convinced him to do the movie? 🤔
Is it possible that the rumors he has while he is an idol are about the accident? Somehow netizens are blaming…
I doubt, probably some fake rumors about his school days, family stuff or about him being a player. I have a feeling that it might have been one of the band mates or his manager.
So we're finally going to see how Im Sol's accident happened. BUT you guys! Seon Jae...
Seon Jae stays on the bus with Im Sol...even in that timeline where Im Sol never acknowledged him - he still loved her. He still stayed on the bus for her 😭😭
I also thought that way. The last chance would be their uni era. The mystery left is whether Sunjae indeed suicide…
There's definitely something fishy about it.
My initial thought was murder. My second thought is that a fight/disagreement took place and Sun Jae fell amidst that. So an accident with someone trying to cover it up as suicid*
We've seen Sun Jae go through a pretty rough time with his injury and not being able to compete again. But through that we saw that he tends to go with the flow and doesn't really let set backs get to him. He's a pretty happy and optimistic person overall.
If we look at the original timeline, Sun Jae made a song about Im Sol and even tried reaching out to her via the podcast.
Im Sol also mentions that Sun Jae always sings the song he wrote for his first love. I.e. he's was hopeful and optimistic that one day Im Sol would remember.
Highly doubtful that he'd make a decision like that on the night he meets her again.
So what I'm getting from the trailers and previews is that this time Im Sol prevents her kidnapping but it's highly likely that both Im Sol and Sun Jae constantly fail to meet each other while the events unfold and Im Sol travels back to the future without them having met. And the 19 year old Im Sol that's back won't remember what happened and will most likely avoid Sun Jae - with everyone thinking that it was the kidnapping that caused this. And this leaves Sun Jae heartbroken.
Cut to 2024 - Im Sol returns to the day of the concert and manages to miss meeting Sun Jae at the place where they buried the time capsule - the part of the trailer where Sun Jae is reading the note in the time capsule by himself. And then they meet at the bridge. And then we see Sun Jae pretending that he doesn't remember Im Sol. I feel like Im Sol eventually goes back in time to figure something out and ends up back in the past but they're now in Uni/College. And the events that unfold there eventually leads them to date - with Im Sol successfully changing the future - Sun Jae does become an idol but with Im Sol by his side.
I saw so many people hyping this kdrama up but honestly...I was disappointed. Had to drop it mid way because the leads were very unlikable - found them to be very selfish. Overall, they all have total disregard for other people and their feelings. ML trying to court his brothers fiance didn't sit well with me either
I maybe in the minority when I say this but I currently don't like any of the characters. They're all so selfish and can't look past their own needs. The brothers have total disregard for one another. One is going after his brothers girl and one doesn't even glance at the other when they're hurt :/
I personally thought this was a good watch. Very casual and easy going. I think its good if you want to watch something lighthearted and non stressful.
Love the scenery and photography shown in this movie
I'm glad this time around Im Sol will be able to prevent/avoid it.
This is only the 2nd KDrama where I can rewatch the episodes again and again and not get bored 🫶🫶
Sun Jae is the new standard for ML

Has anyone read the webtoon? What was the story there?
Love the scenery and photography shown in this movie
