I really want to know the duration and timing of things. Because it looked like Naksu was running - or rather flying - around wild for the whole day. And everyone was in different places at the time. Maybe Jang Uk did figure it out on his own, but Master Lee doesn't look like the type to just watch while Naksu goes around killing mages. He's been low key guiding Jang Uk and others around him. It's weird that the man that threaten to kill Naksu if she unsheathed her sword wasn't there the entire time. He only showed up to say that it's not Jang Uk's end yet. LMAO don't mind me! I'm not ignoring Jin Mu and his use of the bell to control Mu Deok/Naksu. I'm saying that between the time Jang Uk and Master Lee find out that she's running wild and is on a killing spree and when Jang Uk reaches her - maybe Jang Uk and Master Lee met and had some sort of conversation or a plan. Master Lee is pretty wise so it wouldn't take him long to figure out that Mu Deok/Naksu is being controlled. Jang Uk said he read the books that Jang Kang retrieved from Shaman Choi. Those books had information about the ice stone and other spells and sorcery that Shaman Choi used. Maybe it had information on the soul ejectors and being able to control souls that used cursed ones.

I see Jang Uk being brought back to life by the ice stone as being equivalent to how Bu Yeon was brought back to life after she died in the womb. Using the ice stone is enough, you don't need it inside of you. It's done it's job. I believe eunuch Kim died when the ice stone was removed because he died from petrification. A stab wound is different from petrification because you can completely heal from a stab wound but not petrification. Eunuch Kim was asking for a new body from Shaman Choi for that reason. He was slowing petrifying and needed to feed on human energy to survive. The only option was to move his soul to a new body. As soon as the ice stone was removed he started to petrify again but had no energy to feed on to survive.
They can always throw Jang Uk and the King's star in the mix to explain his resurrection.

Jang Uk refused that, saying that the ice stone caused enough chaos. At that point he just wanted to leave the Capital and move to Sari Village with Mu Deok/Naksu. Completely unaware of what Jin Mu was plotting.
As for not using it, Jang Uk doesn't actually know what transpired after he picked up the ice stone and the King's star appeared. Both him and Master Lee are assuming that it's inside him. Assuming it is - it doesn't look like Jang Uk knows how to use it or retrieve it - so - he didn't use it to unpetrify Mu Deok. Not that she gave him the time or opportunity. She literally stabbed him before he could get a word out.

Cho Yeon and Danggu wanted to meet father Jin before they got married to get his blessings. I think they just started calling each other husband and wife because it was their wedding day. I think you're right, they'll probably be estranged at the beginning of part 2. Danggu probably sides with Uk and Cho Yeon probably hates anything to do with Mu Deok, including Uk's love and trust for her. Looks like Cho Yeon will be looking for revenge and Danggu will be getting ready to become the leader.
The air date for AoS: LaS has been updated as Dec 10 to Jan 15. If that's true, then we'll have a hiatus during part 2 as well. Most likely either during the Christmas weekend or the New Years weekend.
There's a part 2 to AoS so technically there isn't an ending yet. Part 1 ended at a cliffhanger.
So GYJ plays Naksu at the start. While performing Alchemy of Souls, things go wrong and Naksu ends up in Mu Deok's body. Played by JSM. It was all planned in the beginning, JSM will play Naksu stuck in Mu Deok's body for part 1 of AoS and GYJ will return in part 2 to play Naksu. How Naksu went back to her original body (played by GYJ) has not be revealed to us yet. We'll find out in part 2 of AoS.

If you don't mind the change in FL then I suggest you watch this show. It's pretty amazing in my opinion. AoS is my all time favourite show! 10/10 from me!
