Exactly! 💯 This was the problem I had with this series. So unrealistic! I don't mind the fact that all of these dramas are about female empowerment. Hoorah! Let's do that! 😀 But when you make it so unrealistic and ridiculous, it seems like you are making a mockery of what you are trying to portray here. I don't know. Maybe that's just me...🤔

As a financier in my former life, I have a problem with one thing about this drama series. North gave Yu a check (I'm presuming a cashier's check) for 250 million BAHT, which is roughly 8 million USD. Ignoring the fact that this is insane, it is also unrealistic in the sense that, the family was boasted to be a family of 10 billion (again, I am presuming BAHT). This means that he was allowed to just hand over 4 percent of the family's net worth without anyone saying anything. This makes no sense. No one would have given him that amount of power, let alone money. It was a cute storyline addition, but it was unrealistic and just plain silly. Just saying...😉

This series was like a rollercoaster for me. At times I was really rooting for Chen Mobai, but at others when he was at his most self indulgent, self pitying and just plain selfish, upending the lives of everyone around him because of some snit he was in, I have to say that I really outright disliked him immensely. I wasn't a fan of Ms. Personality Minus either. I honestly don't get what it was that drew someone like Chen Mobai to someone like her. It didn't make sense to me. This series made me laugh, made me angry, and even made me a little bit sad once in a while. For that reason, I would say that it isn't exactly the worst thing to watch. Not a ringing endorsement, but not exactly a thumbs down either. That's pretty much the best I can say about it.

I just rated this a 10 after watching episodes 13 and 14...what an incredible series! 🥰 And what Sung Mo did at the end of episode 14 was just too cool for words...this episode was phenomenal! This whole series is phenomenal! Where have I been all this time that I am only watching this now? 😂 My heart is racing 1000 bpm at the moment, so I'm going to have to take a break and watch something else before going back to the final two episodes... even though I don't want it to end at all. 😔

I love your reference to The Bold and the Beautiful! 🤩 I have a rather cynical view toward human nature in general. Perhaps it is rather sad as you say. Sally Spectra was an unreal and cartoonish character in my opinion, as were many of the characters in that series. I enjoy BL series because at least they attempt to create real life characters and dilemmas. They aren't always successful, I will admit. Which is why I don't always comment on them. I only comment on the ones that affect me in some way. And this one does that for me. This one definitely shows me the flaws in human nature and the cracks that form in human relationships when, as you yourself pointed out, there is no communication between the people who should be communicating the most. I am always seeing the worst in people in real life, so I am always seeking some sort of redemption for them in dramas, whatever they may be. BL or other dramas. I loved Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo. But I honestly could not understand why Ju Yeong acted the way he did and needed to separate himself from Do Hoe. I think chatting with you would have helped me to arrive at a better perspective of their motivations and allowed me to enjoy that series more. Let's keep in touch and discuss more so as to better enjoy these drama series in future, shall we? ☺️

Thank you for understanding my opinion. I never ask anyone to agree with me, but simply to be able to understand and appreciate where I am coming from. Too many people here think that because they express an opinion it should be the only acceptable one. That was the primary reason I cut off contact with an earlier interlocutor.

I am not a fan of the fact that these brothers have no communication skills at all. I believe that it is both the cause and the effect of the fact that the younger brother is so dominant in his desire to protect and control the elder brother and the elder brother, just wanting to be left alone, allowing the younger brother to dominate him...at least until he meets Jimmy.

There is always a fatale in these relationships, whether it be femme or homme. The fatale element isn't always in their relationship with the person whom they target, but can also refer to the effect they have upon the relationship with the loved ones of their targets. As is the case here. Jimmy is a definite homme fatale here with regard to the relationship between Toh and Teh (you're right... not particularly ideal names...). He fed off of the fact that these boys do not communicate well with each other. Predators instinctively feed off of the weaknesses of their prey, and he read these boys perfectly well.

In my own list of perpetrators, I still would switch the places of Teh and Toh. But I also understand where you are coming from. Unlike you, however, I do feel that there is an opportunity for redemption somewhere. Humans are all flawed, so I enjoy the realism of this drama. No one is perfect. No one is innocent. My only objective in continuing to watch this is to see if redemption can be found, in what way, and by whom. It actually is very realistic that everyone sucks. We all, as humans, have our flaws and say and do things against our character in order to win people over. Women put on makeup in order to appear prettier than they really are to men. Men throw money around at bars and strip clubs that they don't really have, whilst their family is still waiting for dinner at home. The motivation is often just wanting to be accepted by someone...loved by someone. This is not childish. It is human nature. And all too realistic. I'm curious as to why you cannot sympathise with it. But I hope you can at least empathise with it.

I personally believe that this entire mess would be cleared up completely if Toh simply told Teh that Jimmy has broken their agreement. Then Teh can get back with Fah and Jimmy and Toh can continue to engage in whatever mess they are creating for each other in peace and harmony.

The exchange in which you replied to a comment of mine has been blocked from my feed as I chose to no longer engage any further with that particular interlocutor. However, I can reply to you based upon what you have written here. I agree with you that what Teh and Fah did was not only cruel and hurtful to Jimmy, as both of them knew that Jimmy had designs on Fah. (I won't claim he had actual feelings, because I don't believe he is capable of such a thing). However this has nothing at all to do with my position on the way Toh is hurting his brother by lying to him and continuing to hook up with Jimmy. Everyone keeps telling me that 'Teh should just tell Toh about Jimmy.' He DID! ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS! In episode 3, Toh even asked him 'Why do you keep bringing this up?' He warned him on so many occasions but Toh chose to ignore him and go his own way. And now he is ignoring his brother's pain and suffering and continuing to go his own way. I don't pretend that all four of them aren't pieces of cow pie in their own right. I'm just taking my stand as on the side of Teh and Fah as they are both, in my opinion, less culpable for the crime of hurting others than Jimmy and Toh. That is my opinion. Nothing 'patronising' about it.

You are vulgar and crude and your language skills are abominable. It shows a certain level of ignorance when you have to rely on the use of such foul language in order to express an opinion. And yours is heavy on filth and very light on any logic. I'm finished with this exchange. Agree to disagree.

Also, you say that Teh is "lying to Toh 'supposedly' to protect him". This is only because of Toh's underlying initial lie which was, first to pretend he didn't overhear the phone conversation between Jimmy and Teh, and second, to continue seeing Jimmy without telling Teh. Teh is under the rather naïve (and stupid if you ask me, since he knows Jimmy better than anyone and knows that his word is worthless) impression that Jimmy is keeping his end of the bargain and no longer associating with his brother. In his mind it would do little good to tell Toh about Jimmy scheme, therefore. It would only end up hurting him for no reason. Now Teh is painfully keeping his end of the bargain whilst both Jimmy and Toh are both lying to him and continuing to hook up. I wish I could understand why you fail to see how messed up that all is.

What a peculiar statement... actually Jimmy did more than "ask", he demanded and threatened Teh into sacrificing for his brother. You might not understand this, but in normal human interactions, there are those in our lives whom we love enough to protect and even sacrifice for without needing anyone to ask us. I have no idea what anyone else's interpersonal relationships are like, but generally in most situations, one will naturally sacrifice for the ones they love. Parents sacrifice for their children, siblings sacrifice for one another, best friends will sacrifice for one another. Sometimes even a stranger on the street will sacrifice for someone he doesn't even know. And nobody has to ask. It's just called being a human being and possessed of compassion for others. I don't pretend that Teh has been perfect throughout this little journey. But that has nothing at all to do with whether or not it is okay for Toh to keep lying to him. Apples and oranges.

I'm reading the comments here from people who are intent on defending Toh and his stupidity. If it were only stupidity, maybe I could forgive it too. Stupid people need love too I suppose. But it's also his selfishness and his lies that are infuriating to me. He knows that his brother gave up Fah in order to protect him. The least he could do is tell his brother up front that he wants to continue with Jimmy and so Teh should continue with Fah. He has to know his brother is suffering and he just doesn't care. All he wants is Jimmy even if his brother has to suffer. That I cannot forgive. I can't understand his motivation for allowing his brother to suffer like that. It doesn't make sense.

I originally thought this series was going to be depressing and annoying and I almost stopped watching it. I'm glad I watched episode 3 though because it was so adorable! 🥰 And, as someone has already written...Arthit is annoying as HELL! It looks like next week's episode is going to get interesting, so I can't wait! ☺️

I remember back in the 80's there was a high school basketball team in Westchester County, New York who were being booed by the students of the school where they were playing after beating their team rather badly. So the victorious "away" team gave them parting moonies through the open windows of the bus. The school district was flabbergasted, saying that was "unsportsmanlike behaviour" and suspended the entire team. I don't remember for how long though. 😂

I'm just starting to watch this again for the second time, and saw in the opening credits the Italian saying 'Un diavolo scaccia l'altro', which in Italian means 'One devil drives out the other.' (It's very quick...if you don't speak or recognise Italian, you will miss it...) The entire premise of this series! What a great line! I can't wait to see Ok Taec Yeon again! ☺️
