nah i like him too even tho i will never forgive him for what he did
When the father told him from now on he must live an honest and upright life, and that if he contributed to restoring stability to the Empire, Zhang Mo's death would not be in vain, I think that stuck with XWJ. I believe he sincerely wants to help XHA because he thinks it will somehow redeem him for his past actions. Before, he only cared about survival. But now I think he is truly committed to the cause. That's just my opinion.

They switched in the Palace. When you see the eunuchs filling his wagon with memorials you don't see the face of the man in the wagon. That's because it is already Gu Yu. Commander Wang had to kill the guard following him because he had no intention of going to Bai Wan's house but rather to meet with XWJ and the Tiemo envoy.

I agree with everything you wrote here. I wasn't very fond of Chancellor Gao when XHA asked him not to abandon the people who helped him and his response was a Sphinx-like 'maybe I will, maybe I won't'. But now I understand him better. He's basically the sort of person who believes that if it benefits the Xiao family to betray you, he will not hesitate. It's all about his loyalty to the throne. For which he gave his life. Kudos!

I only hope he doesn't have to also meet the wife and kids. I will not survive that! 😭

I have just watched the scene where the 'deposed emperor ' confronts the father of the young man he both replaced and killed, and I have to say, that scene was PHENOMENAL! I couldn't stop crying for ten minutes. What an intense but heartfelt scene. I wasn't sure of the de's true intentions until watching that scene. I now feel a bit more secure in feeling that he is now finally genuinely on the side of XHA. What a well acted and well written scene! 🄹

Title Me and Thee

I know the entire concept of this series is the fact that Peach is supposed to teach Khun Thee how to act like a normal human being, but it still fascinates me the way he is willing to patiently explain to him each time he goes overboard or acts in a way Peach deems excessive or unnatural. Most BL dramas are stacked with miscommunication, misunderstandings and silence between the two protagonists which totally infuriates me! I love the openness and the totally honest communication between these two. Especially the fact that Thee is open to and willing to learn from everything Peach tells him. It's as though he knows he is lacking in the very communication skills Peach is teaching him, and he is willing (and eager) to learn. I find that element of the story extremely endearing.

Title Me and Thee
I was never a fan of Pond or Phuwin's acting skills prior to this, but after watching Me and Thee, I am a committed…
I honestly believe that the crazier he acts, the more Peach comes to understand that he just doesn't know any better, and I believe it endears him more to Khun Thee. Phuwin does remarkably well in this series with showing subtle acknowledgement of where Thee is coming from and also when he feels Thee has crossed a line. It's so great because he can understand him, but he also will not tolerate any disrespect or excessive treatment. Yet you know he doesn't hate Khun Thee or even look down on him. He simply explains to Khun Thee what he did wrong and moves on. I don't think anyone has ever done that for Khun Thee before. It's this dynamic that I love between the two characters. One is fiercely independent and determined not to allow anyone to cross his boundaries, whilst the other is madly in love and has no concept of boundaries. 🤣 It's so adorable! 🄰

Title Me and Thee
I was never a fan of Pond or Phuwin's acting skills prior to this, but after watching Me and Thee, I am a committed…
I love the concept of Khun Thee being trapped inside this weird lakorn world because his parents won't allow him to have a real life outside of the family business. So he clings to the idea of dealing with people, especially romantically, in a melodramatic and completely excessive way. Whenever he offers to buy Peach a house, a plane or an island, he's doing it so sincerely because he truly believes that's how it's done. It makes me laugh but it also makes me sad for him because it shows how obviously little outside human contact he's had. He must be so lonely. No wonder he clings to Peach so tightly. Peach is the first person to speak to him like a real person and not like a boss or someone to be feared. I truly love both the concept and the execution of this series. It's quite special and, as you say, deserves to be remembered.

I was never a fan of Pond or Phuwin's acting skills prior to this, but after watching Me and Thee, I am a committed fan! Especially of Pond. The way he speaks the melodramatic obviously lakorn inspired lines he speaks with such earnest sincerity, thinking this is how people truly speak is hilarious! And I live for every time Peach has to tell him to get a grip! 🤣 This is the first time ever that these two have been able to get me not only interested, but completely obsessed with whatever they are going to do (or say) next. šŸ˜‚ā¤ļøšŸ„°

His impossible hairdo (wig?) in both series makes it impossible to truly gauge who he is as a person, so one can only focus on the eyes and the smile. And both of his shine so brilliantly in both performances that it was impossible to miss. And she is just beautiful in every way. She can never be mistaken for anyone else. ā¤ļøā˜ŗļø

Title The Cursed Love Spoiler
There were several great false starts to this drama, and then it feels like the writers fell asleep in the middle and just went out for drinks at the end. Such a beautiful stellar cast wasted on a lacklustre storyline that really could have and should have been interesting and even fun. The ending really felt like even the writers got bored and wanted to be put out of their misery quickly and quietly. I was very disappointed with this series, but I do look forward to seeing everyone in something better somewhere down the road, because I think they deserve better. Have I mentioned how beautiful they all are? ā˜ŗļø

Just a tiny observation regarding your comment about the boys not wanting to get too involved with the girls. It struck me in the second episode that all of them had been through rather recent breakups and they all seemed to have taken it badly. It could be that for this trip they just wanted to hang out with their friends without complications (such as girls). It's probably too soon for them to start looking for a rebound. And,as you yourself observed, these girls were a bit messy, and rather nasty. The guys are all so sweet and nice, that I don't think they would have been into the 'mean girls' aesthetic. Just my thoughts regarding your comment. ā˜ŗļø

I was thrilled to hear Ice singing War Wanarat's song from Jack and Joker in the latest episode! I love when different BL series are tied to one another, either through cameos (the scene from My Golden Blood being shown on television in the first episode of Revamp or the cameo of the leads of Khemjira in Me and Who) or through music. The continuity and connection makes it all so sweet... maybe I am just too sentimental! ā˜ŗļø

Title Jumong Spoiler
I loved this series more than any other until the final episode when Jumong wanted to send the Arms Master South with the Queen. This upset me so much! šŸ˜ž He has been devoted to Jumong for decades, and Jumong just throws him aside like a tool that can be used to help the Queen. He completely disregarded the emotions and sentiments behind the loyalty people felt for him. I had to stop watching. I missed the complete ending of the series because I couldn't watch anymore after that. šŸ˜”
