She's a talented actress but what was the need to bring Dilraba into this?
This person has no activity in their profile other than 34 comments, so I think you are correct.

What is TVOD ??
TVOD means Television On Demand. It is basically a way to watch episodes either before officially airing, as one person has already stated, or after the episodes have already aired. It's rather convenient for people who just don't have the time to wait for specific episodes at specific times to air or for those who like to wait until the series has ended and would rather binge the series in its entirety. But yes, one does have to pay for it. πŸ˜‰

People in every part of the world are able to do this. You are superior to no one. I simply mentioned that to insist (not imply as you claim) that only Han Chinese are 'real' Chinese people is discounting hundreds of years of contributions these people have provided to China and Chinese culture. Even though the authoritarian nature of China's government only allows for the recognition of certain things and ignores or even outlaws other things, the contributions of the many ethnic varieties within China cannot be ignored and are apparent, whether one likes it or not. It's the same thing here in America. People eat pizza (Italian), pork fried rice (our version of Chinese), sushi (Japanese), weuse words like 'kow-tow' (Chinese) and gesundheit (German), we have an inordinate amount of foreign influences in our culture that we make American, because that is who we are. We are a melting pot. And we don't have an authoritarian dictator telling us who is American and who is not (not yet, anyway...ask me again in November and you might get a different answer...) I think the fact that I live in America makes my perspective far different from yours. I know one for certain is that I NEVER expressed any racist opinions here, and so I wish you would stop characterising me and my opinions as such. And I will do the same for you. I don't believe that either of us is deliberately here to hurt other people's feelings. I think we express opinions with which others might disagree and perhaps we take some things too personally. But, speaking for myself, I know I never intend to hurt anyone's feelings and if I do, then I apologise. But bring intentionally hurtful is unacceptable. So my characterisation of you as racist was inappropriate and I apologise for it. Please stop doing it to me as well. Thank you. Besides, I thought you were going to block me anyway...πŸ«’πŸ˜πŸ€”

Blocking me of course is an option, and I can't stop you from doing that. I have made some misogynistic comments prior, and have apologised for them. Unlike you, I can acknowledge when I am wrong and can apologise for my mistakes. You seem to think that doubling down and projecting your own fallacies on me is the way to go. Fair enough. Then block me. I'm all for it.

I've done a little bit of research and so I now understand what you are trying to say. Han Chinese make up over 17.5 percent of the population in China. (This is, by the way, far less than the 71 percent of European White Americans in the United States, yet you still think you have a solid basis for an argument). However, you still can't deny that there were significant periods of time in which China was ruled by a Manchu dynasty. Since you insist that only ethnicity makes a person Chinese, that is why I compared you to a Nazi. Because you are still wrong in this context. As long as you continue to see people as separate and divided by ethnicity, you will always be a racist. I was born in Cuba, raised in Argentina. I am half Afro-Cuban and half Spanish European. Yet I now live in America and consider myself as American as apple pie. You don't get to determine who is Chinese and who isn't. Neither does ethnicity. Your argument began by stating that the Dowager Empress Cixi was Manchu and thus not Chinese. Yet the Qing Dynasty from 1636 was Manchu, and therefore formed the basis of the identity of China, despite being an ethnic minority. They therefore have the right to consider themselves as Chinese as anyone else. This is the point I was trying to make. Stop attempting to divide people based upon race and ethnicity. It is this stupidity which has caused wars, and really does not serve any legitimate purpose in the long run. Especially because, as I said, there are no truly pure ethnicities anymore. Most of us are mixed, one way or another.

Now THAT is the wrong analogy. A so-called 'ethnic' American would be a Native American. There really is no such thing as an 'ethnic' American. This obsession with 'ethnicity' is what draws boundaries between people and inhibits unity. You really need to get over that mindset. If I, an American, were to move to China tomorrow and decide that I want to be Chinese and fully subscribe myself to all that being a Chinese person means, then why couldn't I do that? There is no real ethnicity anymore, anyway. Everyone is mixed. Your eugenic thinking is old fashioned and frankly rather racist.

Jews have always seen and identified themselves as Jews as well. And yet they were still German Jews. Yet Hitler and his ilk saw them as a separate minority. And not at all German. The analogy is apt. You are trying to say that a population of 10.4 million people within China are not Chinese. I think they would disagree with you. Oh...and by the way. There is no such thing as an ethnic Chinese person. If you mean Han, then that's different. But why are only Han people Chinese and not everyone else who has contributed to over 2000 years of Chinese progress and prosperity?

You, like most women, have to be right. So I will give it to you. You are right. Feel better? Good. Then let that be an end to it.

I think because English is obviously not your first language, that you are misunderstanding me. That is the main foundational premise of the misunderstanding between the two of us. I do not wish to prolong this misunderstanding, and so I will simply say that if I have offended you in any way, I do apologise. But I sincerely believe that you simply do not understand what I am trying to say. And that's all right. I would not understand what you are trying to say, were you to say it in your language either. The eternal mysteries of the Tower of Babel. What can one do? 😏☺️

Except I did... vaguely...when I said that I acknowledge forgetting that it's all fictional. I went into these dramas initially because the tags called them 'historical', and I believed that. That's because, a) I was an idiot and b) because I have no understanding of Chinese history, being a Westerner who was not educated in these matters. So I have made mistakes. And I have apologised already. What more can I do?

Dot...Again...I will not apologise for how you reacted to my frustration. That is solely on you. I have already explained myself in the initial post. I don't know what else to say to you.

Producers are always so big about presenting dramas about how strong and powerful women are. I would LOVE to see a drama about the Dowager Empress Cixi and how she single-handedly destroyed the Qing Dynasty. Now THAT would be a great historical drama about a 'powerful and independent' woman. Mao and Xi and everything in between can be blamed on that 'powerful and independent' woman. How about that? πŸ˜‰πŸ˜„
