He never forgot about her not even once. He has also mentioned about her in his journal multiple times. And he knew that it was her father's death anniversary because it was also the day he got into accident as well.

Exactly!!! How could they stoop to this level? It's disgusting on so many levels. I can't believe that they're trying to take over the company, smh. The second wife is getting on nerves. She's a former employee trying to take revenge on grandma while being with her son-in-law??? She's the worst!!!

I think you missed a couple of scenes. When they were still kids, he found out the address of the taxi driver who saved him. Remember the scene where he gifts them premium juice with a "I'm sorry" note.
