Why is it that in almost every Kdrama or Cdrama, the ML's good friend or brother ends up falling for the unsuccessful or struggling FL, and the FL never sets boundaries between them? On the other hand, the FL's good friend or sister never falls for the successful, good-looking ML, and if she does, the writer presents her as a villain and ML keeps his distance from her. I know the target audience is female, but for mature women, it feels too illogical to watch same trope in every 2nd dramas.
Even the last episode showed more romantic moments between sml-fl in flashbacks than between the main leads. The last eight episodes were more focused on the sml than the ml. If the sml is so important to them, they should make him the main lead in a different drama. They shouldn't screw up this drama's script to highlight him. It's disappointing. shouldn't have stopped reading the novel
SML is such a badly written character that despite having a lot of important screen time, people still don't like it, and the actor's acting isn't helping either even though he is good looking
can anybody tell me in which ep she will go to abroad in the novel?? I won't watch rest of the eps and read the novel from there will have my proper happy ending
I was disliking Gong Shang Jue till 22 ep then that twist........ (still don't like his brother, he is so annoying. He is the only actor who overacted in drama). The twists of this drama are well written and not predictable. Overall, it is a very well written, well directed, and well acted drama;, there is not even a single boring episode in it.
because famous leads + started off well, but the 2nd half is not good because those trio get more screentime and the ex is getting more and more annoying, that's why people are upset about and main leads and ml friends are still likeable. but overall, the average drama which had potential to become a super hit.

I am not worried about him. He will get that much screentime what his character deserves I am worried about nepo kid will get unnessary screentime and destroy that wonderful drama.
The bad rating was already there before the drama started to reveal it's shortcomings... it really has nothing…

I can agree with you if you said a lots of drama aren't good between 8-8.6, but beyond that, almost all of them are good. Maybe they are made for a different audience, not for you. This drama has lots of flaws, like giving so much time to the boy, his uncle and Fl's sister, Fl's best friend her ex in a relationship, and she still doesn't cut her ties or distances from her. It doesn't make sense. Also, only a few people have rated this drama, which means if this drama is good like other dramas rated by lots of people, it won't be affected by haters, maybe (0.1-0.2)not more than that. Only time i saw drama ratings was affected a lot because a large audience rooted for sml

Tian Yu's character was likeable in S1, we don't know which character is playing that boy. They have lots of story to cover with a bigger star cast. I think they won't waste any time on unnecessary characters.
Both Tian Yu and the hockey boy are starring in JoL2, both receiving a copious amount of screen time in this drama…
Tian Yu's character was one of the funniest in JOL S1. I think he and the hockey boy won't take much time if they are not related to the story that drama has so many stories to explore in 40eps, unlike this one. This drama would not be more than 26 ep if they had excluded Fl's sister, the boy and his uncle, which are so unnecessary.
This is such a different kind of cdrama, and episode 10 is the best so far, not because the main leads kissed but because of how they revealed Jin Fan's back story. I can't remember any Chinese drama where ML is weaker than the main casts, which is why I am liking this drama. SML is more like tripical one-dimension genius cdrama ML, but his and his brother's words towrads ML are so hurtful because of that, sometimes I hate them more than the main villains. The best thing about this drama is that it's so well paced that even though they release only one episode per day, it still feels like lots of things happened in that episode and the plot is also moving quickly. well-directed, well-written, and well-acted drama by the whole cast.
