Unfortunately in the episode Tan alluded to this idea long before the police chief ordered Insp. M to take the laptop home for delivery the next morning. So my theory doesn’t work out. It is much more likely that in some way or the other Tan made the police chief give that order, so that he could more easily steal it from M.
He is doing what he believes he can get away with. But what can he do when the police chief, the senior local…
I think M should handcuff the doctor to a chair and provide him with some special input on the various ways police officers in all positions serve the people. There is still lots of airtime left to uncover the tightly hidden treasures of Wiang Pa Mok…
There is a thing I really don't understand...how did Bunn and Tan know that Pat's laptop was in Ispector M's hands?
Maybe inspector M colluded with Tan in order to secure the laptop by getting it stolen just in time before the police chief and his buddies can get hold of it, or the story is flawed?
I hate Inspector M more than I do the actual bad guys of the story. What a loser and mediocre public worker.
He is doing what he believes he can get away with. But what can he do when the police chief, the senior local politician and the mafia (?) are united to subvert the law? My impression is that he is attracted to the doctor too, but Tan snatched him away, or rather the doctor fell into his hands – at least for now. Remember, M took the doctor to the pub, ordered that special drink, took the unconscious doc home and prepared a soup for breakfast for him. A little bit too much for a public servant… I wished he exerted his influence on the doctor as well…
This season is terrible. Everything feels like a satire on the first season characters, too much MSG for my taste. Techno was such a lovely character, – completely burned to ashes now. The least awful character is San, of all people!
Does anyone know why there are also thai subtitles when the students are speaking? I'm really curious...
The youngsters and ordinary folk talk to each other in a local (Northern) dialect. The representatives of the state and the upper classes speak standard Thai. Since the series targets a wider Thai audience the parts in dialect got a Thai subtitle.
The motives become repetitive… like Type hitting Techno over the head, in every episode, several times… same with the supposed “messy eating” habits… Some things are outright nonsense, like dating a stranger who suggests having sex with a guy who can barely walk due to a torn ligament… I mean, I continue to watch the series, but I’m not eagerly awaiting the next Fridays to come anymore. Same with Ingredients…
Nothing is deadlier for a relationship than complacency. So, how to make the sluggish friend agree to a marriage?…
I have absolutely no idea how it will develop. I just speculate.
And yes, do people marry for any other reason than to formalize a relationship? Why do people celebrate a marriage with great fanfare? It shows to the world that from now on these two people are off limits for anybody else.
Besides that awful proposal that I won't comment anymore, why did Techno think Tharn was cheating with a woman?…
Nothing is deadlier for a relationship than complacency. So, how to make the sluggish friend agree to a marriage? If the nice way of pleading doesn’t work, how about threatening him a little? ;-) Stubborn as he is, Type will find temporary comfort with Fiat, and when he has finally realized that, if he does not turn around and change his attitude immediately, he might very well loose Tharn soon, he will agree to the marriage.
Episode III is like 4/10…until the marriage proposal it is okay, then it turns into a cringeworthy Thai soap of the bad variety… The magic of the first season is definitely gone.
