Does anyone know how Mew's last name is pronounced? Is it JONG-CHE-VEEVAT...'J' as in John and 'ch' as in chair?…
The standard romanization would be Chongchiwiwat. The family name is used in official or formal situations only though. In most circumstances people would either say something like “Mr Supphasit” or use the nickname.
I am probably in the minority here but I can't stand Bohn. I could honestly do without him. He comes as such a…
The guy who plays Bon is a very handsome man though. One ought to follow the wisdom of the old saying: “A beautiful woman, who says stupid things, you better listen to with your eyes.”
The crowning with the bridal wreath was great, but then, alas, what was the lover’s reward? Two stabs with a…
But if you appreciate the Thai culture part though, take this one: Around ten minutes to the end, the camera captures a signboard at a hillside that says: ระวังตก / Be careful to fall! 555
With one 45-minute episode left and things are just starting to bloom, a season 2 is a must. All the couples are…
Thara probably went back to BKK to get a metal detector (would fit his nerdy character), they find the amulet, and happy ending! Should be a matter of 5 minutes.

I love how the producers even sought for a meaningful shirt for Ram too, the one he wears in the evening: „Where flowers bloom so does hope.“ Wowowowow… :D
Is anyone else uncomfortable at how they protrayed fangirls? I hated how King’s sister bribed her kids to take…
Not at all uncomfortable. This is fiction, not reality. Besides, uncomfortable experiences are part of adolescence and life in general; if there are no challenges ever, how can fortitude be cultivated?
See it this way: King’s sister and Ram’s little brother are creating a “safe space” for them by showing their approval and support. Whatever will happen, the couple will never be completely isolated from their families. And since everybody expects them to become a couple anyway, so why not skip the hide and seek part, and move forward?
Oh, king does like Ram.... you can tell from the official teaser XD https://youtu.be/YqVXoRsnYNs
I see… I picked up this series rather late… after having exhausted every other option. Hopefully somebody will cut the scenes of the Royal couple together, once the series has ended… :D
I’m having a weird feelings about King. He’s giving me a vibe that he is not romantically attracted to Ram.…
Hmmm… My impression is different; King is frightened by the depth of emotions which have developed between Ram and himself. Again and again, for a very brief moment, one of them truly exposes his heart to the other, – and then ducks away. Remember the scene when King expresses his surprise that of all things, Ram brought this little plant along, and Ram says that this one tiny object is of importance to him. Why? Because King gave it to him. Awkward silence, and then we hear the symbolic sound of a braking car, and that precious moment is over. The same happened at the garden pavilion, when King tucked that little blossom behind Ram’s ear. (My favourite scene so far...) Ram raises his eyes and utters a few words again, that King is the one person who understands him. Awkward silence… and then King turns away to avoid Ram’s gaze.
The series has some terrific lines indeed, like the one when Ram tries to explain the reason for his uneasiness around kids: “Children just don’t understand things, unlike those dogs.”
This series feels kind of unbalanced. The relationship between Ram & King is very well constructed, very sensitive for nuances of emotions. But the story of Bon and Duean is awfully bland. Duean behaves like society imagines a chaste woman… I mean, nobody expects him to be impaled on the kitchen table on a regular basis, but this “pillow line” nonsense is just implausible. It tastes like a Thai curry prepared with cow milk instead of coconut milk…
K: I told you not to bother me.
R: Why?
K: “Why? Whatever! Just leave!
R: No! I won’t, unless you tell me why I should.
No big surprise so far, and no tears either… :((
