I think what she means is that most of the cast are still young with no critically acclaimed works to their names yet. It doesn't help that this drama is xianxia and solely for entertainment purposes. There are many definitions, but "Idol" is a term usually used for artists who haven't exactly been recognized as an actor yet even if they graduated from prestigious acting universities. Idols depend on their looks and popularity rather than skills. Unless there's a drama/project proving otherwise, they're all still idols, selling looks in a potentially traffic drama. Hu Ge was an idol for quite some time too. He took on stage plays and more serious works to get out of that label.

Yup. Some people may not understand that part and think how come our pair doesn't have this or that together. Are they not as popular? I'm sure they get offers but it's rare for them to do CP stuff and I totally get it. They're lead actors in the end, so it's best to not engage too much in CP service or else fan wars be happening every time a new project arises.
That's too sad that there may not be a special episode after all.
Looks like us YouQin YeTan fans are not going to see much promo from our pair either although they are the bigger fan base but that's normally what happens. They don't linger on. We were lucky to even have them promote for a month together and be so comfortable with each other in their lives to interviews to BTS. There's all sorts of melon that they may reunite but rumors be rumors after all. They're already rumored to be in other projects before this. I'm going to really miss seeing them two together and I think it's more of a preference for them to remain promoting the drama but not necessarily as a CP because CP fans can get a bit crazy and hinder future projects. Anyway, I'm still working on my review. Lol
Does anyone remember how quick the special episode was released after the drama ended for the other dramas like Immortal Samsara? I’m just giving myself some time to either let go or continue hoping. Lol
After watching this drama with so many great actors, I went to rewatch clips and scenes of previously liked dramas and realize, how amazing this cast truly is regarding acting. They make everyone else look like 🤡. Haha.
I'm watching a lot of the press conferences and interviews and man, can I be your stylist Li Landi because you really need one. All of her outfits don't flatter her at all. I wished her team would guide her better. Like how do they let her go out like this? I don't know but she's just so pretty as YeTan, this drama's creative director definitely knew how to enhance Landi's beauty in here.
Like YQ, I'm camping out here until they give us those cut scenes and happy ending they filmed, we saw in those spoilers! I still love this drama very much.
