JUST WATCH the drama y'all. It's pretty good so far. When watching, take off your book reader hat and just enjoy the drama for what it is, an entirely different story.
The script is awesome so far, the acting is on point, the chemistry is there, and the story is flowing. The editing of scenes is a bit fast paced with all the flash backs but as we progress into the episodes, it gets better and smoother.
ZHOU YE is soooooo handsome and cute as He Yan.
Earlier comments about how they never explained how He Yan survived the assassination and ended up at her master's home, do we need to know?! It's actually not that important. Do we need to see the master observe from away, witnessing He Yan fall into the water, diving into the waters to retrieve her, then dragging her body out into his home, treating her wounds, laying her on the bed, feeding her medicine, then one month later? It's silly how that person complained so many times about that. 😂
When I go into a show with high expectations – "it'll be good so let's go for 4K quality, more pixels to…
It's sort of funny though, this was a great drama to a lot of people here and overseas. It's just not your thing. Doesn't mean this wasn't a good drama.
Nope..! he is 36 and she is just 27..! even if they have mutual feelings for each other.., i swear her parents…
No they don't, but we're just talking based on recent marriage trends, early 90's kids like Yang Zi, Reba, Bai Lu, Nazha, Ju Jingyi, Chen Du Ling aren't even married yet so most likely SZE who is post 90's won't either until 10 years from now. Haha.

They're only 8 years apart and seems like most of the famous female stars go for older guys like Liu Shi Shi who is 16 years younger? Then Yang Mi, Angelababy, Zhao Liying, Tang Yan. It's not that bad. But seems like the 90's generation aren't marrying at all like the 80's. SZE just returned and lost two years, she ain't gonna settle down any time soon! Maybe in 10 years. Lol
