It's incredible that this drama can score better than Legend of Zang Hai.
I don't understand why it can't? Just because Zang Hai is popular in China doesn't mean it'll be internationally or on a certain platform? Why can't both dramas do good? Zang Hai is already receiving so much love, why must we drag this drama through the mud?

It is what it is. I agree with you. With high expectations, comes disappointment. This drama has such a high rating now because the majority of us came in with no expectations or biases. The cast aren't traffic stars, so the majority of the ratings here are going to be accurate. There's no large fan club polarizing the ratings...yet.
I think ratings could be a reference or starting point for some, but don't take it too seriously. No matter the ratings, fans of this drama are already SO GRATEFUL to even have a chance to rate it. This drama has so much sentimental value to some and for others, it's nothing more than an average drama that doesn't deserve such high ratings and that's totally fine.
