I was engaged right through to the end. A lot of dramas will have strong beginnings and flounder towards the end, not so for me in this one. Loved the female lead’s drive and motivation to succeed, even I thought her company was a lost cause in the beginning.
The romance was spicy, just how I like it! Lol
8.4/10 for me.

Darn, I haven’t enjoyed a kiss scene this much since Lost you forever….. our male lead is certainly thirsty 😂.

Romance was off to a slow start but development was worth the wait.

I kinda feel like that’s what we see in real life sometimes. We may know persons who are not considered ‘nice’ to us, yet still they may have partners who love them just the way they are.
I believe he saw the good she may have done, albeit rarely (in flash back scene of childhood) and loved her irregardless. .. good and bad.

lol right! We watch these dramas to escape from the stresses of everyday life, not to be left emotionally drained from a sad ending.

Concept is so similar to Legally Romance. This was an enjoyable journey for me. I was always routing for our male lead even when he made some questionable decisions.
I’m all for the kisses in dramas but I really didn’t feel cheated not having any. The longing gazes said all I needed to see 🙂.
Definitely recommended.

I could have done without the extra angst in the last few episodes but it was still a great watch. Kudos to the writers as I liked how the plot developed. I’ll be checking out more dramas with our male lead.

Came across this looking up dramas with the female lead and realized I had watched quite a few episodes before dropping … but can’t remember a thing. I guess it wasn’t very memorable or I watch too many dramas 🤦🏽‍♀️.

Totally! Hitting all the right spots for me. Agree with what u said, sometimes it’s best to stay away from the negative reviews so as to not spoil the feels 🙂. Hoping for a happy ending 😭.

I thought this was gonna be a light, fluffy drama. How wrong was I! Had be shedding tears in recent episodes.
I’ve now joined the persons waiting on final episodes to air 😭. Solid plot and acting, love the switches in male lead’s facial expressions .. plays both roles well.

Is it just me or does the male lead’s character here give off a Tushan Jing vibe from Lost You Forever? Just the way he is so smitten with her, has this soft side yet strong when he needs to be.
I’m only @ episode six but enjoying it so far… it’s my binge drama for the weekend.

I’ve loved Elvis since Siege in the Fog and Never Gone. Really want him to get the recognition he deserves as a really good actor (not to mention sexy 🤤).

It’s not like Princess agents that ended so unsatisfactory only to find out there won’t be a season 2!!! That was a bommer.

This was an awesome journey. Yes, I am among the Jing supporters and was truly heartbroken; however, season one concluded well. Stellar performances and writing, to be fully engaged for 39 episodes tells it all. 9/10 for me.

Omg, no one can deny the chemistry between our girl and Jing! That scene in episode 28 was worth the wait 😅. No matter what happens in the future, I’m cherishing these moments they have together. He was given a second chance at life to love her like this 🔥.
