After seeing people's comments I'm scared to watch it because I don't want to break my heart. I haven't found…
No love triangle. I watched it ongoing and absolutely loved it. Then again, I have a soft spot for dramas in the Republican era. I see a lot of positive reviews above as well. Ending was also satisfying.
if i dont like ep 1 and 2 will i like the rest of the drama?
Probably. I liked early episodes but fell in love with drama even more as story developed. I think you can trust the 8.9 ratings although that’s not always the case depending on your preferences.
Amazing drama. I was hesitant at first as I am not a fan of the “female chases male first” tag. However, thanks to the previous reviews giving me a heads up to push through the first 5 episodes then it gets better.. I was able to get through. Mark is truly a talented actor. Female lead did well too. Definitely recommend!
“A good drama doesn’t need you to force yourself to keep watching” .. my thoughts exactly. I permanently…
Aww, sorry u feel like that. I for one love LLTG, I was happy to find LBFAD which I love equally or even more so. IS is the one that has me stuck 🫣. Goes to show we all have our own preferences and need to respect someone’s comment if they don’t feel the same way we do and not refer to us as haters lol Right?
Sory for this post...but someone seems pissed of because we comparing this to other drama.... they said we dont…
“A good drama doesn’t need you to force yourself to keep watching” .. my thoughts exactly. I permanently paused that drama at episode 26, and I loved the cast. I kept going back to read reviews to see if I should push myself to complete.. but doubt I will. LBFAD is my cup of tea.
The mortal realm is so hilarious with our ML and SML. I swear the concept in this drama is so fresh, for me I can’t predict where the plot is going at times. I’m happy they made it 36 episodes so we don’t have any long, drawn out plots, but a bit nervous to see if the can warp it all up nicely.
With the amazing soundtrack and visual effects I feel as if I’m being pulled into the pages of a great adventure! Only drama that comes to mind having somewhat of a similar plot was Love Better than Immortality, but it’s nothing compared to this! Definitely a break from the clichés so far.
Same… I think it’s coz the first arc was too intense…. I didn’t particularly feel the ML was DiJun material…..…
I’m assuming you’re referencing to Ten Miles of Peach Blossom? Interestingly they did introduce us to heaven first it just didn’t involve the ML and FL together. They did meet in the mortal arc @ episode 13 there about. What can I say, nothing compares to that one right? I don’t even know how many times I’ve rewatched lol. I have no issues with the ML at all in Samsara, he’s super talented & I love him from Love and Redemption. So I’ll just blame it on the script 😩.
I’m struggling to keep my interest with this one. Im up to episode 25 and other than waiting on new updates of Love like the Galaxy, I have nothing better to watch. I like both leads though so I think I’ll push through with hopes of it piquing my interest again.
If you’re like me and enjoy escaping into a fairytale at times then you will love this. The development of the plot was good as I never got bored and enjoyed to the end. Beautiful OST also. And yes, I am also I BOF fan :-). I get that it’s all silliness to many but I know there are still some hard core fans like myself who desire a break from the heavy dramas sometimes to enjoy a Cinderella story :-)!
At what episode does the things turn romantic for the main couple?
Can’t remember exactly but I think around episode 6 the female will soften to the male lead. But as the title suggests, it may all be a game 😃. Well that’s how it starts out anyway! There will be enough back and forth to keep it interesting.
No regrets watching this one. Funny enough I loved Fall in Love but still ended up dropping at around episode 26 as I felt the politics took over the plot at that point. Somehow this drama kept me engaged to the end.. it seems to get better and better actually. Started slow but picked up for me at episode 10.
I did prepare myself for an unsatisfactory ending so fast forwarded a bit on the last episodes, but it was totally worth the watch. Kinda like the Red Sleeve, dramas like this you just dive in and expect to enjoy the ride.
The female lead did annoy me with the decisions she made for sure. It somehow worked into the plot development though as the drama would not have been as interesting as it was for me otherwise.

Dylan is killing his role ❤️
Yeah, EL intensity was spot on throughout, commendable for a 58 episode drama.
Lol @ weird general. Can I tell you how I just love Leo Wu as a general in Galaxy. Gosh he’s just killing the role. Broad shoulders and all!

Ok.. I’m up to date with Alchemy, recommended 👌
