Nope, you are mistaken. She does not kill Him as in HIM, she kills the devil god. The devil bones is what makes him the devil god, so the nails are there to seal them. Edit 1: in the novel, he controlled demons instead of animals. But as the only one capable of doing so, his powers aint unlimited. Tantai Family is famous with their raising of demons, TTJ is the only one who can cotrol them.
Edit 2: Xi Wu had a Curved Jade bracelet and also an ancient artifact that stored immortal powers - hence why she could use magic in her mortal body. This Curved Jade tho had to go into hibernation after Susu uses powers from it.
