YXW is not reincarnation of LSS but her demon part as she is half demon half god (that is from the novel, i dont know if they have included that in the drama but seems like it, just not explained fully). Book of demonology existed way back so ofc PYZ can check its contents, he was a discipline of XiaoYao sect. As he was not immortal till his last moments, he could ask for information and piece it together, also why he managed to revive XL using that book of demonology. LSS/YXW timeline are two different parallels, not happening at the same time. Original YXW died by TTJ, he died later and morphed into the DG. That is 1st timeline or Universe A. LSS goes back in time in YXWs body and changes TTJs fate/alleviate it that is the second timeline or Universe B. In this second one, TTJ actually survived and did not morph with the DG as the original timeline in Universe A.

That is true, and tbh he understood that he has to sacrifce instead of her. Him as the devil fetus can come back, she as a God descendant will not. So i guess he thought id be the one to sacrifice and if i manage to come back i will live quietly and so he did. In a way he enabled em to end up together and tbh i like it that she went on to search for him for double the time he spend searching for her. Also the way he couldnt believe that she loved him when he came back as Bai ZiQian, he was doubtful like a lot, but she percieved and was the one to court him this time. So i see their relationship as no one owes the other hence a healthy one at the end.

Yes, but the person who made him capable of even survivng as TTJ is LSS. If he died while the bones were in no TTJ. Only puppet TTJ with half his consciousness as he is instructed by the devil god and the artifacts (we have seen this version in episode 1). What LSS did (allowed by DG 2.0 himself) was go back and give him the choice of DG or Immortal. Yes, it is like he is possessed by the DG but also keeps his consciousness, cuz they merge. The DG and the artifacts instruct him on what to do and he cannot decline that cuz they are one.
