Ok, I won't be making this a spolier or marking it as one, so don't ask me to. I feel most ppl here need to have this told by someone in the open and they need to understand it.

IT IS NOT TARGETED TOWARDS ANYONE IN SPECIFIC, just a general POV towards LSS character we have seen thus far. I ain't on any hate train towards any character apart from YBC (die bish). The following comment will list some stuff people overlook when they watch the episodes leading to the continious hate towards LSS' character these past days. I LOVE both TTJ and LSS' characters, and no, DO NOT twist my words or take them out of context. Thank you.

Welcome to my ted talk, let's begin:

So, LSS' character has been called cruel, dumb and whatnot, aint have the time and patience to list all the nasty stuff ppl say about her. Has it ever occured to anyone that:

1. Ji Ze never told LSS the whole truth of how to remove the bones? Hello, we have a bigger picture behind the scenes. I advice you to question anything and everything that happens, even in real life. It's a nice skill.

2. Won't go into the LSS trauma stuff, guess you are as tired of hearing that as I am of writing that. Let me tho tell you this: "FATE plays a big role in this drama". Now, director and both LYX and BL said it in interviews. So would it be, for you as a drama viewer, right of LSS to scrap the world, believe TTJ, but history repeat itself, cuz hello FATE, and end the drama at episode one with everything gone, even him gone? I don't think so. Why? Cuz the real purpose of LSS in the mortal arc is to HELP TTJ by giving him a choice of anything other than the Devil God we have seen in episode 1

3. Nails part logic can be found in the discussion above - it is probable, I won't go into details about it here.

4. Hello tower scene. Ppl have said LSS is cruel for her words towards TTJ, for removing his bone and leaving him in despair. I will say what she did was choose the lesser evil - she dies, but he survives. Why? Cuz throughout the whole series we have been slapped with how much TTJ wants to survive. All she did is grant his wish of surviving and also ultimately fulfilling her mission - no devil bones inside him, and he gets to live. What would have been really utmostly cruel of LSS would have been the following outcome:

♤♤LSS removes the evil bones, and makes TTJ take the thunder tribulation - She survives, the vessel dies, the evil bones are removed - HA, no Devil God and she is alive, the punishment of using the WAJ is fulfilled by TTJ dying. ♤♤

now has this scenario never occured to you? Good, cuz it occured to me right away when she decided to sacrifice her life. If it was Bitchang's mentality this senario would be fulfilled step by step.

5. At people saying LSS "Doesn't love TTJ" - I beg to differ, she does love him. Else above scenario would be the one we saw in today's episode. It screams VOLUMES of how much she loves him and cares for him as she sacrifices herself. Don't come at me with the "She will go back troupe" cuz the LSS at this point does not know she will go back. No one told her she can 100% go back to her time!!! Bloody hell, she gave up the last bit of hope of surviving this in the cold palace and furthermore by smiling on the tower - she is gonna get released from this torture of being in the middle between the hammer and the anvil.

6. Cruel Words - Hellooo, would it be better for TTJ to feel regret and despair like MY did after losing SJ knowing she has always loved him? Oh wait, to ppl saying TTJ has suffered enough and I second that statement - he is trully sick of suffering - why give him hope and make him more miserable than he already is? Ain't it better for him to hate her and get over her dying on the tower faster, than have him stuck in a loop for 10 000 years as Ming Ye was? At that moment LSS is praying to the gods saying she doesn't want em to ever meet - has it occured to anyone that it may have a hidden meaning and precisely - I hope to never see the Devil God ever again, as at that moment before she puts the essence he still has a tiny little bit of chance to become it in the future.

7. Every mature person knows that sometimes Love ain't enough and what will be will be, if it's doomed it is doomed you can't change that. So, does she give up her mission for this naivety? Would you be able to digest that at all? It will only make her the most naive Female lead character ever (I have had plenty of these already, I'm glad LSS in the drama ain't one).

8. To people saying TTJ genuinely loves LSS at the wedding - how does someone love another person with zero trust? Same goes to LSS in that scene. They are at the "I have a crush on you" stage in that scene. Not one of them knows or trusts the other person, be in conditionally or unconditionally. I won't call that true love, it is however the beginning of them falling trully in love with the other person. The mortal arc is where all the problems occur and the immortal one will be the retribution stage for them both and the growing arc for them as persons.

I think as novel readers we should have kept that fact to ourselves, and the crew could have hidden this as well. Might have had a bigger impact

I agree with you. What most ppl have not seen is the outcome of all this. And as the drama follows the major main plot of the novel (abyss, god x Devil, nails, essence, tower, etc etc) as a novel reader i see where this is going and know what is cooked for the end. So seeing all this hate towards her character is getting on my nerves. Ppl hate her for striving towards her mission, and they hate her for hurting TTJ, but LuLu and XiXi did say fate plays a major role here, and changing fate aint as easy as being selfish and ruining the world for your love at that moment.

Imo that was the best scene of em till now. The feelings hit you hard in it.

TBH i have never ever seen a FL that sticks to her mission as strongly as LSS. Ive seen plenty of dramas, cdramas, kdramas, jdramas (just too lazy to find and add them all in my watchlist 😩) and no FL can come close to LSS here. She is level headed and sticks to her mission no matter the price she has to pay. What LSS left TTJ is a fate other than the hopeless and cruel him as Devil God and she sacrificed herself for that. She is cruel for this yes, but not disappointing as other FL did in other dramas with their naive thinking that love can change everything. Nope, love is sometimes not enough and this was clearly shown in the mortal arc.

1. Evil fetus. He is born as one. So evil fetus plus devil bones = Devil God. Evil fetus minus devil bones = close to Devil God powerwise (Sang Jiu after her body was destroyed in the Abyss - not a devil god, but nearly as powerful as him).
2. For that we still have no idea. The spikes were a tool to weaken the barrier of the evil bones only, not kill him.
3. After receiving PRs cultivation and lifeforce he becomes a mortal/demon. He can use her powers and won't die as a mortal.

Evil fetus. No Devil Bones does not mean he wont hear the Devil God, it only means he wont become it cuz no bones inside him. Also the bones aint destroyed.

Ep 28 holds the record - 9 times. ( LYX) Second one is episode 26 with 7 times. (LyX) so based on that ep 28 is more bloody till date

Only way is the essence. Spikes were not intended to kill him and only 6 needed to go in. Ji Ze tho did not tell her all that cuz he cannot take risks to failing the mission.

Hmm is that per the script? In the novel LSS had the bones with her and destroyed them after coming out of the Death Door. Di Mian was dead after removing the heart scale and sending his love thread and scale to Chu Huang.

He is sealed yes, but he is both a demon and a god, fallen god. So while being sealed he cannot do anything. He will return in the immortal arc.

Well said. The bigger picture here is often ignored cuz ppl prefer to blame YXW for whatever happens to TTJ. When the drama ends is when some of the people here will realise the meaning of everything in the mortal arc, and its consequences in the immortal arc and why the end has to be like that. Yes, the saying that love aint enough is clearly shown throughout the mortal arc, but people do not see it clearly.
The TTJ "not yet" the devil god is honestly the most naive thought you can have when faced with fate and powerlessness. This senario is the same as Ji Ze not disclosing everything to LSS - NO RISK CAN BE TAKEN.
Also the LSS sacrificing part - it screams VOLUMES of how much she loves him, cuz she could have taken the evil bones and made him go through the thunders instead of giving him divine essence, hello, did you forget that posibility? Her decision is the best outcome for TTJ and the price she pays at that moment is herself, cuz wait NO ONE ever told her SHE CAN 100% GO BACK. Bloody hell, in that moment even she gave up hope she can survive all this, it aint obvious ? The smile on the tower tells you she lost all hope of surviving what she is to do.
Cruel words? Couldn't have said that part better - Why entangle him with more negative feelings when she can help him get over it faster by hating her?
All i will say is, this all is done for a reason, take some time to look objectively the big picture painted throughout all the episodes we are seeing. Cuz, at the end of the day, TTEOTM aint a rom-com that is all about love between the leads, but it is a large canvas telling you a whole story that is going on behind the scenes of the obvious!!!!

The seal cannot hold the bones forever with no alive Gods, and it can also purify em but not destroy them. So when the seal weakens the Devil God can choose a vessel for them that will finish his mission, and precisely opening the door to HunDun (eternal chaos) and ressurecting Devil God 1.0. Also, reason why it took him so long to put them in TTJ. For the bones to fit an evil fetus is needed. Evil fetus is basically a baby born to become a powerful almost devil god existence, so only an evil fetus can hold the bones of the Devil God.

Official count by int fans is 56 times in 59 episodes. We are at 28th episode and we have 39 times already. Imagine if we keep on going like this 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
