I hope this will have gay relationships. I’ve never seen any gay couple in an Asian zombie show. Or even in western zombie shows i dont recall seeing it. It’d be so new

In my opinion this is unique in bl genre. I agree that it’s a usual horror show but i’ve never saw any gay couple in those movies. But if you think about it the usual bl shows are already done by straight romance shows too. so i really like that we see new things in bl. I mean even the most liked bl shows are usual romance tropes that already used in any other hetero show so i think we should be thankful to even have this kind of bl show. Also look at china they ban everything and turn bl novels into bromance shows with cencorship so even the quality is low thailand kind of leads the way and even influenced korea to make bls Edit: what i’m trying to say is we need this kind of shows to expand what we already have as bl to improve new shows (sorry eng is not my first language so there might be mistakes)
I expected Li Ran and Shen Yao to become friends and help each other with things but the show did not give them enough time to develop friendship. I’m disappointed it could be one of those enemies to friends kind of
I agree to the comments below about Partners In Crime plot was better. I would love to see a series like that from yinwar but idk if this one will fulfill that.
Since he doesn’t have any show in gmmtv2024 pt.1 does this mean he probably has a show in pt.2 with the remaining couples that did not have a series in pt.1?

Thank you so much. That’s so unfair to the actors. They did not do anything wrong how can people blame them for a crazy fan fiction. I really hate how China bans everything and their cancel culture seems insane. Like they don’t even release the shows that are already finished it’s crazy. I recently liked Justice In The Dark but they cancelled the show after 8 episodes. I’m new to Chinese media but it’s so frustrating so far
too many characters on top of that the actors cant act, the storyline is so so messy and we have no back story…
I mean since we can’t binge it right now and have to wait 1 week it seems like the pacing is slow but if you think about it it’s just the start and if we get every information in first episodes then what will happen rest of the episodes

I think because they tried to keep what happened in the past a secret mystery they are not giving us flashbacks yet. Since the other characters who weren’t there don’t know what happened, it’s one of the mystery of the show that’s why there is no backstory yet. If they showed us everything that happened in the past in the first episodes and then showed the new friend group going to vacation it wouldn’t be good in my opinion. It would have been starting from the past instead of what’s happening right now and what’s the real show plot
