You couldn’t really say I finished it as I forwarded a lot, even entire episodes in the middle part. The beginning was quite good though!

I‘m also looking forward to legend of the female general. It’s rumoured to air ending of May. Hopefully! After finishing the demon hunter’s romance a week ago I‘m in a drama drought.
Love of Nirvana was ❤️ I particularly enjoyed eps 1-18.

I looked into this a while back, and JC is great of course, but overall the drama couldn’t convince me. Curious to see how you like it!

Agree. But JC excels at tortured ML roles, so it’s possible they’ll collaborate again.

When I saw this I was surprised he‘s not the ML. Maybe he declined?
Wang Hong Yi was just in A Moment but Forever with Liu Xue Yi. It was quite a big role, but the drama wasn’t very good, and his story was draggy in particular. So if he’s in this one, hopefully it’s better.

Same here, some parts of her work don’t sit well with me at all.
But JC seems to like to take on martyr roles (and of course he excels at it, doesn’t seem to know when to stop to make us suffer 😅) so they’re a good fit for a project.
