I just saw that a new drama just started filming of which Tong Hua is the screenwriter. It’s called Against the Current. ML1 is Liu Xue Yi, FL Tan Song Yun. It’s rumoured to have 3 or 4 ML, so I wonder if JC could be involved? But then this constellation would be too similar to LYF. But a Tong Hua project without JC?

Before I actually watched the two final episodes I was upset about the ending and felt cheated because so many things pointed at Banxia being a half demon. But after watching the final episodes, even though they were so sad, they also gave hope and I really liked them and the ending. It was fitting and poetic. Loved the snow scene and its meaning.

I like the ending too. At first, before actually watching episodes 35-36 and just reading about it here, I was upset. But after watching it myself I liked it. It was fitting and poetic. He gave her snow to assure her they will grow old together, so imo both will do everything they can to return to each other. If they really make a season 2 it has to be good writing!
