many people were saying fangyin's death was unnecessary, which is an overstatement bc not wanting a morally upright…
Yea, to me, it’s because it needs to follow the book. But this explanation clarified why the author wants her to die, she was mean to be the polar opposite to ZYZ.
But he hold it all in for too long and when he finally let it out, his emotion was like opening a bottle of shaken…
Yea, he didn’t try to manipulate the situation to control her. He let her do her plan, do her things. Haiz, how can such a morally grey character being so white toward FL lol, apart from the choking lol 🤣
What I like about XW. He left JXN alone when he thought she liked Yan Li, and later ZZ, even though he probably…
Yes, this is XW that ppl seems to forget. ppl say he’s possessive, but all he did was being salty about it, by cooking sour food and kiss her passionately lawl! And before you guys scream S.A, noticed how after he said “I want you”, he paused and only after she stop resisting then he went all in.
He freaking STABBED HIS HAND FOR HER.XW, you ruined your hand for a woman. Is she more important than the qin…
Hahaha that’s why she said he was an idiot 🤣 he went all in for her. Saying that though, he did say I’ll count to 3, if he does trying to stall it will raise suspicion, and whether this suspicion is a worry would be leave it to chance. So while the chance is high to win, it’s not a guarantee to her safety
so how they end things are different with how they did it in the novel? this ending is satisfying but compared…
Well, you can be revengeful but you need to be doing it within the boundary of what is actually good for the country. China would not allow a drama where a dark ML get to chop the head of the king off just because he’s somewhat guilty when he was a child and was not a great king. Then there’s the morality of it all, you are blinded by revenges if you just kill ppl, killing ppl isn’t the best sentence, and that basically makes ML even more morally twisted, and that means he needs to be in jail himself lol. I think it’s good that the ending is different than the book, the book ML went blinded for revenge, that I doubt anyone would love or support his relationship with JXN.
so in jiang xuening's first life, xiewei presented her a dagger not for killing herself? does it ever explained…
His characters have been consistent between two lives. In both lives, the dagger was given to her for protection. In both lives, she saved him and stay with him when everyone abandoned him. So naturally, in both lives, he will keep his promise to her, which is to repay her kindness when she saved his life. The parallel is there. And you can see that in this life, he saw his chance with her that’s why he didn’t let go, but it took him ages to get there. Sooo first life would take a lot longer lawl! But I believe if she didn’t commit suicide, he would find a way to get her out of the palace :(
I like that it’s not XW who killed both his bio dad and lord Jingnan. It seems wrong no matter how bad these…
Well it seems that XW has a consistency about doing the correct moral things: you don’t go after your bro’s romantic interest, you don’t kill your dad, and don’t kill who has saved your life. So yes, nicely pointed out that it wasn’t him killing any of them, he wants to bring them to justice. Possibly that’s why this series gets green lit, it contains many traditional values
