Lol for me, LIS was the first drama that was all kind of fluff in the right way. The kind of fluff that doesn’t matter how many times I rewatch, I just love it and keep on watching n smile like a stupid person 😅

Ppl complained about the makeup but did they watch the classic journey to the west lol? The makeup was terrible but that’s the style lawl. And I’m loving all these ribbons, feel so classic lol. I, for once, loving the originality of TTEOTM. To me, TMOPB and ice fantasy were very very Hollywood. The head ornaments (very Elven), the clothes (look very little hanfu), shapeless body. TTEOTM is what xianxia should be, bold colour, bold makeup, bold hairstyles. If a god can just flick their hand and get things done, do you think they will be satisfied with a simple hairdo and makeup!

I recommend you watch it the way I watch it lawl. I think I started at ep26? Right at the part she jump, watch from then to the end with a lot of FF, I guarantee you know where you will need to FF lol. Then come back and watch it from 12? Or to the end of their mortal lives lol. I like that series, but man, the amount of skips n FF I do and I still get the story lawl!
