No no, I mean I’m not expecting good fight scene involving ML at all. But instead of showing me a clip of FL fighting, because she meant to be the expert here, iqiyi show me ML’s fighting scene lol. Which I found really bleh lol. Or iqiyi giving me the CP scenes, which idc too much lol

Chen Xiao is pretty, however she isn’t great in acting. Couple that with not great kisser, I was kinda disappointed in her kissing scenes with Xu Kai lol. And again, flat with LYX, admittedly these are from YouTube clips lol. So maybe I missed on the emotion? She’s not dead fish kissing, but very minimum return lol. Also it seems they only have 2-3 kissing scenes at most? I remember there aren’t many on YouTube for that series

No, I mean the premise of the show is the ML can’t do martial art, yet iqiyi is giving me his fight scene and not FL’s fight scene lol

Uhm, I haven’t seen blood of youth, and I thought BoY is a xianxia? Animated battle scenes is not really my cup of tea. Think Jackie Chan’s old movies or like HK wuxia series. From what I’ve seen from iqiyi clips, it seems the ML is like Duan Yu from Demi gods and semi devil? He can run/evade rather than actual fighting? Anyway, didn’t manage to see one single fighting scene of RM. but yea, so far, from what I’ve seen it feels not great :/ if you can link me a clip of an actual battle, that’d be great. Because serious atm iqiyi is marketing it as a love story 🤦‍♀️ and keep showing how they use wits to win the battle. While I get it’s the show premises, at the same time, I want hard hitting, enticing fight scene lol. Have you seen the flame daughter? Ppl hates it, but I love it, the fight scenes are so good. Or in my sassy princess, that was quite good for an idol love story lawl

It’s not even about the romance. I tend to watch wuxia for the exciting fighting sequences lol. The love story comes after. Anyway, searched on YouTube and I don’t like what I’m seeing lol. Mostly iqiyi gave me is talking and terrible fighting impressions lawl. Feel free to prove me otherwise :)

Uhm, from what iqiyi gave me it feels very dry :/ I dont feel the chemistry much between the 2 leads, ill wait until it finish or whenever iqiyi decides to gice me a good enticing clip to watch lawl. kinda like im not interested in watching IS, yet they manage to make a clip that make it intriguing, so i go and watch that part lawl! anyway, thanks!

Soooo obviously this has high rating, look like decent production (cinematography looks decent), actor n actress are known for good acting, but does this drama has good fighting sequences? I love wuxia series, but if there’s barely any worth while fighting sequences and mainly talk and strategies, I will pass. Look at my rating on WRTW, that’s not a wuxia series and therefore I rated it massively down. Is this following the same footpath? For reference, my sassy princess is a love idol drama, but the fighting sequences in there is pretty good, so something similar or better and frequently and not like every 5-7 eps like the legen of qin. Looking at the clips throw at me by iqiyi, I dont feel like i should bother starting because it's all about the 2 leads, and it feels rather dry :/ (from the clips, maybe better in the drama) but I haven’t seen anything worth making me pick this up :/
