Also it feel like the CGI gone down in this episode, the fight scene between TTJ and DG in the dream… while we don’t need strong CGI or a lot of fighting, however, it was low quality. And the relationship between TTJ and LSS… so it was fine from the late talk to in front of the inn before the dream. Then it kinda just switch while they discussion the plan, and after that, they have a talk at the second level. It feels flat when she said she believe him… like I expect something from that scene but what I got is so far off track with barely emotion that I’m like… it’s a waste of the beautiful pink dress!

I see. For MN, it makes sense, as XL was her regrets. For LSS and TTJ, it’s a mixed and complicated emotions, that we would rather see how it acted out on their face than flashbacks lol. But then that’s just me. I didn’t thinking much of MN and GYJW reunion lol, like it’s ok, but I already forgot until you mentioned flashbacks lol

No, I get what you said. However, the clothes on LSS don’t make sense. She was in the lovely pink dress when she accidentally meet GYJW, then they talked about the plan, all well and good, however, it’s then show they going through with the plan with her wearing white clothes, the one she met up with TTJ outside the inn. Sooooo explain the clothe unless you want to say the dressing department mess up lol. So either TTJ and LSS already making the plan together, and in a way, mending their relationship from not talking to talking (they are working toward the same goal, need to be on friendly term). Then GYJW turned up, so they included him in, that’s ok. But here, it seems they were making the plan with him there, however the clothes… 😵‍💫

Uhm, are we comparing their meeting in shangqing palace vs MN and GYJW’s embroidery shop? And you thinking the shop is more beautiful than the sunlit palace? Ok lol

Uhm, first her dress changing in and out. The sequence of 33 should be: they make a plan of capturing the demon (intertwined with NBY and YY’s researching, there should be bird flying in and out for the intel, but we skipped that, ok we get it but still). Then after the discussion, they will go and lace the streets with the stinky water and the pink string. Then LSS changes her dress to be the pretty pink one (as the demon loves pretty well dressed travellers), go into inn with TTJ to rent a room, pretend to accidentally meet up with GYWJ (this is just weird placement, it likes they are forced to add him in here…,
This whole sequence is just not making sense 🙄 because why would they pretend they meet him by accident? And if it’s like the sequence in the episode then why her dress is pink at first then normal while they was doing the water on the street, unless she does t want to make it dirty lol. Anyway, a mess here. Then the dream sequence is kinda a mess here, too. Like many were saying he closed the door after we were shown she’s waking up? And their conversation, the emotions on BL and what they are talking on screen is WEIRD. And I trust BL and LYX can act a normal conversation, soooo something got cut here. I’m sensing they have cut what actually happen in the dream, as in they have another dream in mind and during that dream, it made them back to normal speaking term? The past 32 is actually pretty good in term of editing, but today episode is like wth lol

Well, it’s not bad as it was quick, 1 - it follows the book, 2- it introduces the loyalty as well as the villain/troublemaker, 3 - it establishes that LSS is super famous and she gets ppl follow her a lot, how do we get her alone if ppl are seeking her out lawl. If she’s not alone, how can we get them just quietly meeting each other again and have moments with each other undisturbed? 4 - CJM/TTJ was asking her rather than just take it like he would if he was evil/massive contrast to the book lawl
