The character's name is Yang-cha. I think the mask is just a preference. Not much we know about him, but later Tanya mention that he was a vengeful spirit. And that's all we know so far. The story hasn't ended yet so maybe we can see more of him in s2.

if you really want to know, watching just the 1st & 2nd ep of GP,G is all you need to know the previous story. i myself couldnt finish GP,G because it was just too absurb. this one is much better.

Yeah, s1 has 3 parts, 6 episodes of each. The story hasn't ended. Unfortunately, they have to change the cast of the ML and FL in s2.

small plot hole in ep 15. when rounding up the Asa clan prisoners on the city street, Gitoha was seeing speaking with Gilseon. He asked where the heck Asa Ron was. Gilseon replied it didn't matter since he was all alone.
But just minutes earlier, inside the shrine when Mungtae brought Asa Ron in, which resulted Asa Ron being killed by Tagon, both Gitoha & Gilseon was there too. 😁
