As mentioned by others Moonlight and love of PBG knocked out Moon Lovers. I would add that the kerfluffle of banning Korean entertainers/dramas in China right before its airing didn't help. The fact it was an adaptation of a Chinese drama I think tainted it a bit because of geopolitical concerns....but mostly PBG. Moon Lovers was lucky the airing station in China had already paid so much per episode for the rights. I love Moon Lovers with the exception of the last 4 episodes because they were sloppily put together. I'm one of the few who doesn't really mind the ending much because I consider it better than the book or the C-drama.

To this day I don't know why Healer didn't resonate in Korea. Sometimes it is a competition thing like Moon Lovers, and I can see Weightlifting maybe not resonating. Healer is just a fun drama with popular actors.

I am glad the actors of Healer got increased popularity overseas and Lee Joon Gi also had a resurgence in his hallyu status post Moon Lovers. I'm happy for them all, LJG especially because he did hard carry that drama with a help of a few other actors.

I really like the pacing of this drama. I like the romance has stayed front and center with the other characters revolving very much around the leads. I'd be okay with a bit more of Shi An & Lion bromance but otherwise, I'm happy no side story is overtaking the drama ...yet. This gave us time to not be in an instalove situation which is one of my pet peeves with some of the k-drama romances. I feel these two really got to know each other enough to at least know they want to move to the next level; it didn't come out of thin air.

right? I feel like so many of Park Min Young's dramas have some kind of childhood connection to the love interest.…
Unfortunately the childhood connection is in 80% of k-dramas. I'm so over it. I'm still a little hopeful that there isn't one but we'll see.

I like Seon Joo but she is the worst adviser (advisor ?!)! I am sure she means well but her advises turns into…
I don't get it either because she's obviously known Eun Gi for years and years. Having said that, Seon Joo doesn't realize enough perhaps about her own marriage. That dude really is over the whole fangirling thing, and I cannot blame him.

i feel like he will have a romance line with the girl interested in ryan!
That's what I think.

i feel a bit torn atm episode 10 made me feel so much for eun gi :( so fricking sad (although i dont want him…
The only episode he really crossed the line was episode 8. Before that he was more an annoying brother, which is actually how she sees him. I'm glad they made him a bit more sympathetic though I hate the whole concept of trying to force your feelings on someone when there is no indication that person returns the feelings at all. They have 6 hours of drama left to move his character in a different direction so hope it will happen by the end of next week's shows.

I usually feel for the second main leads for dramas but the second main leads were def freaking annoying this…
The 2nd female lead seems a throwback to 2nd leads from five or six years ago. The whole I'll make you love me kinda vibe. I thought k-drama had moved on from that. On a positive note, those storylines used to last for a huge chunk of the drama, and I'm hoping this is resolved next week and the leads acknowledge their true feelings.

I don't even know what to say about the brother scenario. It's weird because they were totally raised as siblings. So ick.

It just hit me but Eun gi is practically gaslighting her. It could be seen as harmless teasing from a friend/sibling…
I agree. If he was being protective of his kinda-sister, it would be one thing. This is all about his bad motivation. He is jealous and wants her for himself though he knows she sees him just as a brother. I didn't have any issues with the character through episode 7 because he wasn't really doing anything too overt that maybe a brother wouldn't do but it's a big nope in episode 8. At least the 2nd female lead knows she's being an awful person.

I’m actually feeling more chemistry here than in WWSK and find it more interesting as well. I love both shows…
I thought 1 & 2 were okay but 3 & 4 kicked it up several notches and after 5 & 6, I'm counting down the days until W/TH. I loved Sec Kim as well.

This is really coming together quite nicely. The director knows how to film well to utilize the chemistry between the actors. An example is the bathroom scene where Ryan is helping with the scarf. Filmed close, no music and the couple just sizzle. They are doing the quirky fun stuff well (how episode 5 ended) and also the quiet scenes as well. I love that he now knows she's not gay and also that she's a fangirl all at episode 5. Used to be that would be drawn out for 3 or 4 more episodes at least.

I think I'm too old for this much cliche, naivety and silliness in one drama.... Lee Jong Seok's acting skills…
This will end up being a superficial drama for me. It's easy enough to watch but it won't really stick with me. I do like that it is at a publishing house instead of a regular office, law firm or hospital. I just think they could have done so much more with a story about a divorcee restarting her life. I'm middle of the road about LJS but I do think he needs to branch out.

I read the reviews and I wonder who no one has given this drama a 1 or a 2 or a 3. The script was bellow par,…
I really enjoyed this drama, but I definitely don't think it will work for everyone. I hope you dropped it because at 73 episodes, life is too short to suffer through a drama not working for you.

I always thought it was too bad that Come Back Mister ended up on at the same time as DOTS. It was such a solid show and well done I thought. I liked Angry Mom, Falling for Innocence, Beautiful Mind, & A Poem A Day. I did drop The Village: Achiara but I give it credit for trying to do something different even if I don't think they quite pulled it off. I have mixed feelings for Missing Noir M. Haven't seen the others yet.

Yeah, I'm agreeing with you. I actually think this was just lazy writing because it was such an easy fix.

I watched this and thought, just add her name behind the other gal's. There was plenty of space for the head of marketing and the person who came up with a very specific idea and helped the guy agree to publish the book.

My thoughts about Mrs Ko characterMrs Ko’s entire world revolves around her job and especially her position…
I think they plan on redeeming her character as the drama proceeds. My issue is with taking her name out of the book which Dani worked so hard on...it seems they could have just put both names so it's really more bad writing than being mad at that character. I would think the marketing director would be making that call as well. Again, that's more my issue with somewhat lazy writing.

this drama makes me so sad... now that she got the job, other stuff started working out for her. but all of them…
I get what you are saying though I am overall enjoying the drama after a rough first episode. I did appreciate that she appears to have gotten the job without him. I also think it is odd that they are allegedly close friends, but he had no clue about anything going on in her life for the past year.

Doctors is good. The 2nd lead isn't pushing himself on her or us annoying. I hates when they push himself on others.…
Doctors dealt with this scenario better than most dramas specifically in how both guys acted about the situation.

Wasn't the stunt guy quietly in love with the gal? I always considered him to be part of the triangle.
