does this have sad ending? please reply in spoiler
@Saphiros Sunghyunkwan Scandal, Faith & Arang and the Magistrate. I'm not saying they are all perfect but they were not ambiguous like Scholar. Arang (also with Lee Joon Gi) left me with a smile on my face.

I find I'm just kind of over the triangle and definitely think the Reply series needs to let it go. The "guess who she ends up with" is a gimmick that has run its course. I think there was as much angst about what you said in the P.S. as anything else.

gahh this drama's too dark/intense for me (especially ep 2) >_< don't know if I should continue…
It's been a while since I saw the original, but I think there is a different vibe in the second story involving the train. You might check that out and see if it works for you but, yeah, it should be suspenseful if they are doing it right.

no romance??
Yes, agree with @BeautifulSwan. I was speaking more between the team members. I only watched 8 seasons of CM and don't recall even a hint of romance between team members except flirting between Morgan and Garcia.

Are the characters going to be based on/the same as the original or is it completely different?
My understanding is Lee Joon Gi's character is not actually Morgan but a new character though he seems to be fitting somewhat in the Morgan mold but with a different back story.

The stuff regarding the vampire Gwi is closed but the relationship stuff is left open to interpretation.
On April Snow Jul 27, 2017
Title April Snow
This appears to be a re-make of Random Hearts with Harrison Ford. Watch the original as it is much better. The actors are just fine in April Snow but the writer made an already somewhat slow movie even more meandering into boring territory.

I just haphazardly ran across this on VIki yesterday. It's a hoot. I mean definitely low budget but just a fun, easy watch that I don't have to take too seriously. Kudos to the lead actress because I can see immediately when she switches.
On Criminal Minds Jul 27, 2017
Solid first episode with perhaps just a bit of messy editing at the end of the first episode. I'm actually glad that LJG seems to be playing a new character because I think they needed something different for fans who are so familiar with the original. Well, even as I type that I realize half the fans might not like that. Oh well,

Guys, honestly, what do you expect? The pilot of US version was much more rushed and faster... It seems like korean…
I don't understand either. It's a police procedural and I thought it did a good job setting up the crime as well as providing some character development in what is generally a plot driven genre. Lee Joon Gi already said in an interview that there will be more background on the members in this drama, but surely no one expected it in the first episode. I was fine with the story, fine with the acting and overall with the directing though I do think at the end of the episode the editing was sloppy. Truthfully I never loved Criminal Minds as I thought it reveled in the gore a bit too much, but I really like procedurals so I'm watching to see what they do with it but they are not going to re-create the wheel here.

Did anybody else find the first episode really rushed? I felt like they tried to squeeze in too much and they…
They literally can't plagiarize as they bought the licensing rights from the US prod company (not all the seasons of course) which means they buy the scripts and they can use them as they wish. At least that has always been my understanding.

Sadly, so far, July 23 and no news of license from DramaFever or Viki
My only hope was DF and Viki. I think it has to be the licensing $$ is too expensive. And I also think Kocowa (which I think is just in North America) is going to throw a big wrench into everything regarding the non-cable Korean stations.

i really want to like this drama and i see that more and more people are enjoying it but i'm having a really…
My experience with this writer is that she takes a certain # off episodes before things really comes together. She wrote Arang and the Magistrate and adapted Misaeng. These are two well respected dramas and there are no guarantees that this one will be super awesome but both these dramas took time to build a foundation for the characters. I guess basically what I'm saying is a lot of dramas fall apart at the end after a promising start. I think her dramas start a little slower and get better, but who knows how this will play out and I am fine with NJH but he certainly isn't Lee Joon Gi or even ISW in Misaeng. I think the difficulty of moving something from a fantasy historical setting to modern day might be a bit much for some.

I'm glad I had no expectations (as one of a few people who ended up dropping Goblin) and hadn't read the source material so for me this is a just a relaxing popcorn drama. I laugh at some point during every episode. The pacing is a bit off and not everything is perfect but I'm interested to see where it goes and am not taking it too seriously. If someone wants a pretty close to perfect drama, check out Stranger (Secret of Forest), but personally I'm just happy to have a drama with a rom/com vibe and no serial killers in sight.

Is this good? how come the rating so low..:-)
The ratings early on were quite good but it isn't really growing. I agree with @Teleri that this is a a funny, easy going fantasy drama. I know angst will come, but I'm just enjoying the ride.

I'm so tired of people bitching about Shin Se Kyung in everything she does. She might not be the best but…
I thought she did well in Sensory Couple, and I think she's a hoot in this drama. I think she and NJH actually have a nice chemistry together. The one drama I didn't like her in was When A Man Loves and in hindsight it could just be the part was not well written.
Drama_woman Jul 18, 2017
No experience with that source material so I don't have to put that aside, and I don't buy into hype. So my experience has actually been quite good. 5 episodes in and some pacing issues for sure, but I laugh during every episode which is more than what is going on with a comedy show I'm watching so I'm sticking with it. Also, the writer is the same from Arang, and I remember it took a certain # of episodes for me to totally get addicted to that one.
HappySqueak Jul 18, 2017
I read a critic review of this movie, and they were pretty rough on it as well. Because it is on Netflix I might give it a go but I tend to stay away from movies that push an agenda because it is really hard to make that enjoyable and worthwhile. And it's summer and I do want enjoyable.

The dramas listed that I've seen (all but the mentioned version of Full House) I'm in agreement. I never…
I watched Love 020 on DramaFever. Some of the commenters mentioned several scenes later in the drama that were roughly edited and were told the scenes were cut by the Chinese censors. A lot of fans had read the book Love 020 was based on so they were the ones indicating they must have been "too hot". Yes, I've seen Cruel Romance and Ten Miles; liked Cruel Romance and loved Ten Miles.
