I mostly enjoyed this series. I like that it critiqued how toxic the bl industry and bl fandom can be. As for…
Yep agree with everything you said

From episode 1 to 10, this series was a 10! Then episodes 10 to 12, it just... kinda.... meh.
Everything that the plot had built up just got resolved in what essentially would have amounted to a paragraph. And the rest of the scenes were just... idk? Fillers? Just people standing and staring?

But honestly, it’s so worth watching just for the first 10 episodes!
If you’re tired of rapey BL, or BL where nothing makes sense, and you want something with a good story, a couple that understands communication, boundaries and respect: this is the one for you.

Unrelated but I LITERALLY HATE AOEY SO MUCH OMG. I wanted to kill him 300% of the time lol

Lovely series! Wish the ending had been done a bit better, but it was great anyway!

Since (according to the comments) the sequel is cancelled,
Does this season have a proper ending? Is the ending happy?

Ok just finished and it was beautiful. I really, really liked it.
I understand how some people can find it slow or too emotional, but imo it was just raw and realistic.
Teh made so many mistakes, but of course he did: he’s a 17/18 year old.
I can’t wait to see where this goes in season 2!

Also can we just appreciate how they wrote Tarn?? She is such a good character. She’s not some token girl, she’s well rounded and has self respect.
Their scene in the restaurant was amazing.

I’m only halfway through but I had to come here and comment.

This is a breath of fresh air.

I personally don’t like school setting BLs, and I feel like the other school setting Thai BL (TT, SOTUS) are very plastic/overacted/overproduced.

This though? It feels calm, real, grounded. The acting is realistic, the actors are really good and they have a lot of chemistry.
The relationship between them feels natural and earned.

But my favourite thing? They skipped on those annoying 10-episode-long misunderstanding plots.
Of course I’m only half way through so maybe I’m speaking too soon.
But I noticed that the characters just outright say what they’re feeling. They don’t hide and let it fester into an angst misunderstanding.
When they don’t speak on their feelings, it’s because they’re still processing them.
And that feels so real to me.

I really, really liked this so far!
Hope the remaining parts are as good as the start.

This and ATOTS really changed the way I look at Thai BL (I used to not like it).
Excited for the future!

This was really good!

I’ll start by saying this: this is not a BL movie; it’s a gay movie.
(Yes, I realize that it’s based on a BL manga, but the genre of the movie is definitely not BL, if that makes sense). Also it’s pretty explicit, just FYI.

This is a story of two *deeply* flawed, broken people who *desperately* should go to therapy. My reaction to most scenes was “you should really get some help”.
These two are terrible for each other. And Kyouichi is a special kind of trash human. He’s cruel, cold and doesn’t care what his actions do to other people.
Imagase, for his part, has no sense of self love or self respect. And it’s heart breaking to watch him love someone who is so bad for him.

But the thing is: the movie doesn’t shy away from any of that. And that’s what makes it good.
At no point is their relationship portrayed as something healthy. You know it’s toxic from day one, and watching them hurt each other becomes a quiet, beautiful thing.

I thought the pacing was also really good. No scene dragged out. And the dialog existed only when it needed to. A lot went unspoken, and it created a quiet, lonely, real atmosphere.

Would definitely recommend this if you want to watch something more somber, serious and heartbreaking. Really good story!

From episode 1-5 I would have said this was the best BL I’ve ever seen in my life.
The story, the acting, the fact that there’s plot and they’re not in school: everything I wanted!!

But then. It just.... fizzles out. As of episode 7 or 8 forward, the BL side of thing kind of dies. There’s not much payoff for the romantic relationship, it just fell flat, even though it started so strong.

I would still recommend. It’s very high quality and well done, just not enough romance payoff for me.

Ok I finished watching and overall it was ok.
I think the special was the best part (the final love one, I haven’t seen the wedding yet).

But it was pretty... meh. Everything was meh.
You’d think that after a month away from each other both Type and Tharn would have been so happy, but Type was acting so weird (and the beanie was super distracting).
Also, after all his avoidance, I expected Type to do this beautiful proposal, but nope. Literally just asked him, super half arsed. Idk.

Like, I didn’t hate it, and I would still recommend people watch this series, but it’s super ok.

.....Type can’t accept this wedding proposal because... he’s gonna... become... a monk?

I don’t know if this is a cultural thing that I’m missing here, but I feel like they pulled the plot completely out of their asses? It just made no sense?

Also, I thought it was so bad that Tharn proposed to him when he had already said no. It’s like, your partner told you straight up he doesnt wanna marry you, and then you go, buy rings and propose...? Who would do that? That’s so weird.
Personally, if the proposal doesn’t come from Type, it’s meaningless to me. Because Type is the one being a dick about it.
But I still have one episode to go, so we’ll see

It’s just so weird lol how do you not tell your boyfriend of 7 years, who you live with, about your shitty boss?
Or, how do you not tell your bf of 7 years about the TWO WEEKS you’re gonna spend away?
That is so weird. Like, who has a relationship like this?

Only up to episode 4 so far, but I wish they would stop with this random storyline about the basketball kid. I’m literally not even watching it ^^” I just skip it lol.

Although I do like Tharntype’s dynamic for what it is, I somewhat think they regressed as a couple.
In the special they acted a LOT more like a couple that’s been together for 3 years. You could see that they were very comfortable with each other and that Type was very comfortable with being gay.

But I think in this one, even though it’s meant to be like they’ve been together for 7 years, it almost feel like season 1. So I don’t like that part much.

Overall, it’s kinda ok so far. I’m gonna finish watching cause I wanna see the wedding special.

Lol people are so dramatic.
Before watching, I thought this was gonna be a super creepy/rapey story. It’s not even remotely LOL
It’s like people don’t know what a Tsundere character is!
Type 100% wants everything that is happening, he just doesn’t wanna say it because he’s too proud. It’s obvious from the way he acts.
I don’t know how anyone is confused.

I really liked season 1 and season 2, but I almost feel like season 2 just gave up on them and gave way to the side pairings.
The side pairingsare interesting, but I feel like we deserved proper development with the main pairing first!!

This was actually really good!
I cared about the plot and the mystery very much, so it wasn’t just the romance of it that was interesting.

The sound in the series is a bit jarring, but I got used to it eventually.
Also, the main pairing’s romance doesn’t feel properly earned, in my opinion. But! The actors have chemistry! So that made up for it!

The story was good and the acting was good! Also the ending was awesome! And the side pairings are so cute!!!!!! Omg I wanna see more of Inspector M and Oat!!!!!!

Wow wow wow wow wow!!!!!! I cannot say enough good things about this!!!! What an amazing BL movie!!
The fact that they’re gay is almost irrelevant, which I love!
The plot is so interesting!!! And they are treated just like you would a straight couple!!
The leads have so much chemistry that you absolutely believe they are a couple! Also we get many beautiful romantic scenes between them!
Probably the best BL I’ve ever seen!!
I’m gonna watch the other ones from this company too!
