The only issue I have is couldn't we have spent more time in Davin home country. The King and Queen should have not been so quick to accept. Well scripted and acted, Winny and Satang brought their A game here. Winny showed an amazing range of emotions. Also, anything with Namtan and Garwin, even making cameos, can't be 1/2 bad. These two elevate any scene they are in!
Wow. Epic work Domundi and Mandee Works! You've found an amazing balance between the BL elements and the actual storyline.
The lore was handled beautifully while not being bogged down with the relationship aspect of the drama. At the same time the couples felt well developed.
The historic elements were just spectacular. Period correct costuming, architecture and customs added to the flashbacks.
The religious aspect was used to a great effect.
IMHO possibly the best BL of 2025 and among the greatest supernatural BLs of all time! Right up there with I Feel You Linger in the Air and Spare Me Your Mercy.
This was a masterpiece! Such a simple premise and set-up executed to perfection! Keen and Sea are great! The only wish is it could have been 5 episodes and we could have explored Mawin a bit more. What made him want to be a loaner? Why did he transfer in? Hopefully the rest of the anthology could be as great!
This is not as bad as many commenters make it out to be. While I agree there could be a bit of polishing here and there the worldbuilding and characters were quite well written. The cinematography was excellent, on par with GMMTV or Mandee Works. As is, I will still place it over The Next Prince and anything from Oxin Productions. The sound recording was also better than many of GMMTV's latest works. It's not He's Coming to Me quality, but the acting was still top notch, the chemistry was there and all characters got their fair share of screen time. Well except for the, technically, 2nd couple who could have done with some more scenes in the finale. All the characters felt as rounded as they could get. Any of them could have a series as they did feel like they had their own lives outside of revolving around the leads. I would encourage these students to continue and the university to back these sorts of projects! The only major things I have an issue with is Blue driving the car at the end and the captions. He phases in and out of existence. Possible he could have been in the passenger seat, or invisible in the car with Sia. Also, as a University couldn't a language class twice over the script in English?
How could they kill Thang! O, wait, he's alive! Most perfect, excellent casting if we want a foster father figure! Interesting opening episode. Everything went downhill from there. Setting up the culture was good: an aristocratically lead monarchy with it's own rituals and beliefs was well done. The fight scenes when in Thailand were OK. The oppulance of the Royals was well done. Yet somehow the story came apart faster than the Emperor's New Clothes. Had so much potential. Amazing production values, but somehow not altogether right. Hey, it was still better than the Oxin Films travesty called Rainbow Prince.
I love a ham-it-up baddie. Bom certainly delivered on that! That's almost Namtan as Giwi levels. It was super refreshing to see a truly selfless character as Janine. From the 1st introduction to the "reborn" Armin he was just good. There was no scorn or loathing having to represent Armin and that's something different. His sweet moment where Armin thanked him epic. Veynai was also a perfect character. Usually the bodyguards or assistants are treated badly by the rich character, but here the relationship with Tada felt more like respect and friendship. All round the time travel was handled very well. Armin managed to undo wrongs. It contrasts well with one of the worse time travel BLs of all time, Time. Also based on entertainers, Time could have been this level of good with just a bit of foresight and good writing.
Now for a lil nitpick. Veynai's hair kept changing from scene to scene. Same impeccable style, but one scene he had shorter sides, in another its all grown in. Thailand has to have some of the best doctors for Armin to have no scars from a point-blank gunshot and recover from a several floors high fall like that so quickly. :D
All in all Reset shows how a good time travel BL could be done with mature teams, mature motivations and convincing situations.
This is prime why I say Singto is the best GMMTV male actor. That one tear and the facial expression was more sad than any number of other actors making ugly crying face!
Was there problem with the scriptwriting, editing and plot ? Yes.But anyone, anyone who said that the acting was…
Seeing somebody as controlled and cultured as Um do a 360 to be a baddie was great. It was nice to have the dialogue that vampires created all the lore to cover their tracks. Joss and Garwin are two strong, amazing actors. I've always thought Garwin was super underrated and this proved such. Garwin and Neo were also amazing together. They felt like deep, childhood friends, even in the context of teh argument. The casting was, for the very least, on-point.
I only hope: GMMTV can deliver the caliber of To Sir With Love and I Feel You Linger in the Air. It's a good vehicle for Aou and Boom to properly demonstrate/ explore their chemistry.
One of the strongest eps so far. This only gets better!! I have to highlight Junior and Namtan's acting and their…
Namtan could have chemistry with a paper bag, she's that good. The one thing I love about her is she allows the actor opposite to bounce off her. She doesn't steal any scene from a weaker actor, but somehow enhances it, yet steals the scene! She was epic in Pluto, but I still maintain her baddie as Giwi in The Player. She acted her royal off in that role! Junior and her made a very good, believable couple. They both stole their scenes completely!
The cars! The cars! Actual, proper race cars! Some of the scenes have me rewinding because of the cars! How was I supposed to concentrate on the dialogue in the Kim rescue scene when that Supra was in the foreground? I still preferred the Datsun in S1 that's in Babe's apartment over the car that's there now. Wasn't part of Babe's power the ability to sense Alphas? Am I wrong in that? Shouldn't Charlie have that ability too? Shouldn't he be able to sense something in Willy?
Yep, that’s my main complaint about this series, that the build up is lacking. The direction/editing/production…
I do see more development between Kim and Mon occuring. I really like the character of Mon. It's like how Peat played Sky in Love in the Air. A very 3D character which is more than what they look like at first. It's a sweet coming of age story so let's see what's planned.

GagaOOLala and Filmotions35 please make it happen!
