I see what they are trying to do. The story is nice, the characters are well rounded by the end of the second episode, more or less, and the locations are great. They chose a slow burn story and I find the pacing good. The dialogue, though, could have been a little more refined. Certain parts seemd out of place due to the writing. It's not like My Day, but with a little editing, it could have reached Severo levels!
I agree with most of the posts. The plot-line is slowly developing, but at an amazingly slow pace, given the lengths…
I understand your point. I'm just happy they found a good, positive role for someone who may not be defined as beauty star material. She's not being played off for laughs although there may be some friendly jabs at times.
How did Vlad not get into the Young Film Programme if this is his quality of work? He took, basically, found film footage and edited it into this amazing product! Lol. Anyway, if this quality is expected from film students out of The Philippines we could expect more great hits! Severo and Habac should be teaching their methodologies on the internet!
The Filipino BL dramas are really giving Thai BLs a run for their money. These feel more heartfelt and realistic…
Hitting it out the ballpark with their home runs! Hello Stranger, Gameboys, Gaya sa Pelikula, Oh Mando! (I'm still emotional every time I see Dear Karl.) Pity Ben X Jim didn't end as epically as it should have.
Episode five actually did not go the way that I thought it would- it went better! And it gave us a drunk Dale!
It wasn't linear at all! Just as with Hello Stranger sometime no kiss nor sex is just the right way to go. James, who seems is very masculine, just wanting to be held for Christmas was so sweet. Opening up to Dale in such a trustworthy way was just nice.
Anything with these two names: Juan Miguel Severo and JP Habac should be good. Hope to see much more of their work, colabs, and singles. If Blued wants to sponsor these two for life go right ahead!
Dropping it. I will consider that the movie has no sequel, a tragic ending is always better than a "tragic" sequel.
I think this is some weird alter universe. Maybe the same one with the messed up timeline of TinCan. Or maybe Golf went into some sort of Witness Protection Programme?
Golf and Bank are the main roles? Where are they? I mean my only complaint about SOTUS was forgetting the secondary characters, but here WayuFilms has forgotten the main ones?
I Just finished this drama today and I'm kinda bummed that it seems there won't be a second season :/ buuuuut…
I'm still hoping against hope for some sort of reboot or continuation. It was so real life, so relevant! Yes, dramadom is about escapism, but series like Part Time are a slice of reality! I have enjoyed series after, but none match the debt of PT!
To the potential viewers: this is more like a slice of someone's life. It does not have a traditional "story" as a movie or drama. There is no antagonist. It just shows someone who has been diagnosed with HIV and the stigmas that various parts of society put on him. It also shows the failure of many of the institutions one comes into contact with every day. If you are going into this thinking it's a story like Gameboys or Oh Mando it is not.
Very good. Really loved the usage of the soundtrack too.
That very day Ride Home played on my MP3 rotation. At the beginning of the scene, I'm thinking Ben and Ben's Ride Home would be the best song here, still thinking about how Pearl commented on Gav's reference listening to that band in Gameboys. When the first chords came on I got goosebumps! They fit the entire scene perfectly into the whole song! As perfect as the official video's story! Couldn't be any better! TYL is now one of my favs! Ikaw, Fools, and Kilometre Zero are just beautiful!

Well, Pearl wanted to see the bad side of Alex, and boy did she see it!
I can see from Alex's POV, but just a little overreaction?
Is it on the app? might force me to download and install it . . .
