This drama is getting better with each episode. At first I wasn´t so sure, if I should watch it, but now this is one show that I am looking forward to each week.
I am really looking forward to this remake!! I hope that there will be more romance than in the 1996 version and most of all less crazy supernatural moments like in the 2008 version, which was really ridiculous!!
So..I am really split...on one hand I am really looking forward to this remake..but the casting has me worried...Tik´s acting in the last lakorns was almost always the same and his face looks so frozen...I hope that Kimberly won´t act as arrogant as in her last roles..her acting was quite similear in different lakorns. Yes..the role she will have to play will be a princess that has some arrogance, but moreover some pride, wisdom and caring for people. I am also worried about their chemistry, I can´t really imagine it..
The first time, I watched this lakorn without subs and dropped it after 4 episodes. because the acting was not to my liking.. Now..I gave it a second try with subs---and now I am loving this lakorn, lol. Yes, the acting -especially from the male lead, is not the best and there are many cheesy lines...but I just love love the crazy female lead, that stays strong from the beginning till the end...and there were so many moments that had me giggeling like crazy.. Also...there is no annyoing love triangle, no crazy women screaming their heads of or pulling the hair of another woman.. It is simply a fun and relaxing lakorn.
I loved the first 6 episodes. It is fun to see how the Chinese actors interprete their roles... At first I wasn´t sure if Zhang Yi Shan could pull off this role...he does!! I am quite enarmored with his acting..
This is an amazing drama so far!! The acting is spot on and there is no single boring minute. I have not fast-forwarded once while watching the first subbed 19 episodes. Well..yes..the way they look and their supposed age in the drama doesn´t really match...but just ignore this... I hope this drama stays this way until the end...I am so happy that someone is subbing it.
I just watched the movie (without subs) and here is my review (I might add some points after I see it with eng…
I wasn´t sure whether or not to watch this movie...I belong to the group of people wanting to watch it because of the homosexual relationship...but wanted to wait to see whether or not this has, if not a happy ending, but a satisfying one...Well...your points tell me I would be quite frustrated with it it...so thank you, for making me save my time and emotiones on this one!
I am a huge James Ma fan and of some of the other cast, but this lakorn is not for me. The plot is so overused and most of the characters are just plain aggravating and I often have the urge to fastforward, especially with Khun Ying Pathawee, Prakong and Lamoon, with her fake innocent behaviour.. I also don´t feel the chemistry between the leads. If you like lakorns that get your blood boiling, then give this a try, but I will drop it.
How was the drama guys? Was it better or equally good to I Hear Your Voice, or less good then I Hear Your Voice?…
Definitely IHYV!! While I liked WYWS, I wasn´t really able to connect to the characters, I wanted to cry for them, feel their emotions, but there were only some moments during the first episodes, were I did, later on I felt disconnected. It is a nice show to watch., but while I love rewatching IHYV, WYWS is a one-time-watch for me.
Jang Hyuk blows me away with his performance!! I can´t help myself, but I can´t stop thinking about "Cyrano de Bergerac" while watching this drama. I really really hope it ends on a better and happier note than Cyrano.
This is a great article...Kiralik Aşk is one of my all-time favourites!! I can´t get enough of the OTP and it never gets boring. I liked Yüksek Sosyete more than the K-version. I am watching Meryem and Söz right now and am loving them! I will wait until Kalp Atışı is finished, because there were some script changes which I am not sure I like. You made me aware of some dramas I didn´t know of...I will try to watch them, even if I don´t find English subs for them.
This lakorn is fun to watch, but there was too much back and forth to be really able to enjoy the main couple. I like it that the main couple has more "couple time" than in the older version, but this version is lacking the class and storytelling which makes the version with Andrew one of my alltime favourites. Too bad, that they changed too much and put the emphasis on the stubborn and pigheaded adults than on the characters and their development. This is a One-Time-Watch for me.
The first 2 episodes were good and acted well. I do admit to having some mixed feelings.. I am glad that topics such as men being also victims of rape and assault are handled here...but Ma Yi Deum´s behaviour is somewhat off-putting...
So far we have a role reversal here..normally the men are the ones that don´t think about the feelings of the victims...and the woman portray the "softer" side of the investigation/persecution in dramas, movies, etc...Here Yeo Jin Wook is the one with the compassion and Ma Yi Deum acts like the elephant in the teashop...
Most of the K-dramas from 2017 didn´t really convince me...but I am so in love with this drama...it is simply hilarious...I am looking forward to next week´s episodes!

I am also worried about their chemistry, I can´t really imagine it..
But...I hope I will be pleasently surprised!!

But it is raw. As far as I know, no one subbed this newer version, only the older one.
