I watched it raw and oh how I wish that they made a drama with these actors...The acting was really good and they really chose the backdrops carefully..but still..everything felt rushed...maybe I will feel differently after watching it with subs, but right now I think this could have been so much more.

I just love this drama!! The OST was great...and this is my first time watching a drama with an "innocent" female character that didn´t annoy me..I love the way their relationships develops over time and the acting, most of all Marcus Chang, was great.
Also finally a drama without a real love triangle..yes.there are other parties interested in the main leads...but it never gets too much or distracting from the storyline or the OTP.

I´ve just watched the first ep raw and like what I have seen so far. The starting point of this version is different than the older one and I can´t wait to see how this story will develope.

At first, I really liked this drama and its storyline...but somehow among the later episodes..the drama lots its uniqueness and didn´t manage to create the same excitement as before.
Yes, the acting was solid, most of all Jang Hyuk and Kim Jae Wook..but this drama left me cold at the end..I can´t really pinpoint what the reason is...the story or the editing..it often felt too choppy and sometimes disconnected. Many characters felt too 2-dimensional.

I am really curious how this adaptation will be..hopefully better than the last Returm of the Condor Heroes and also that the ending will be better than the last drama adaptation of this story.

I would love to watch this with subs and thus be able to understand the ending.

This has to be the worst drama that I watched with Anne or Tik. Yes, Anne Kong Saharat were great in their roles...I only kept watching because of them...but Tik´s character was a really worthless and weak male character, whose behaviour was annoying and just spiteful, like a little child throwing a tantrum. I really wished for Anne to end up with either Eua or the single dad...Khemachad doesn´t deserve her.
I have seen Tik in other lakorns, where I liked him..but his acting didn´t convice me in this one.

I have mixed feelings about this drama. The many kisses were a plus, the OTP has great chemistry...but something feels of about this drama adaptation. It might be the editing, scenes felt often random and choppy...and all in all this has the "cheapest" feeling of all Ding Mo´s novel-into-drama-adaptation. I think it could have been great, but it didn´t convince. Too bad.

So far I have watched the first 20 eps raw..and gosh..this female´s lead is just another of those too trusting, stupid female characters.

I admit to having high expectations because of the actors and maybe I shouldn´t have had those. This is a nice drama. That´s it. A nice drama. The story somehow feels flat. I really liked the characters, but no matter how much I tried, I couldn´t connect with them. There was not one moment where my heart hurt for the characters or where I wanted to cry for and with them. I wasn´t excited at all and often had the urge to skip ahead.
The historic part is definitely the best part of the drama. This is a one-time-watch for me.

The female lead is really rising my blood pressure..I dislike characters like her the most. She only thinks she is right and totally ignores boundaries and most of all what is going on around her. Characters like her, destroy other people in their blind self-righteous and get others killed.
I will put this drama on hold and wait till it has finished airing..

I really love him in Best Lover and really hope to see him in another role again.

The OTP has amazing chemistry. I really thought that I wouldn´t like them together, but I was so wrong!!
I really hope that they will appear in another drama together again. While this drama had its really sweet and touching moments...it felt short, it could have been better. I don´t know whether or not they cut a lot...but some scenes just felt too abrupt..the script could have been better written...
I should also mention: the kissing scenes were great!!!!

Wow..the female lead is so annoying and I rarely use this word: stupid. I liked the other characters..but I couldn´t stomach her and decided to drop this drama.

I just love this drama!! It is so heart-warming and uplifting and you can´t help yourself, after watching it, you will have this huge smile on your face. Beautiful.

Wow..after watching episode 16 raw,..the only cliches that have not been shown yet are a deahtly disease and memory loss...Well..that is it for me...this drama is a huge disappointment, even more after all those years of waiting for it.
If you can´t stomach cliche over cliche, then I´d highly recommend to skip this drama, don´t waste your time!

I really wanted to like this drama, but dropped it after some episodes...Kim Hye Jin was just too over the top for me, too loud..the acting felt too forced and the character Ji Seong Jun was not likable at all.
I like the Chinese interpretation of this drama and the characters a lot more.

This drama is getting better and better....even though I am not a fan of "deceiving" the other party..what I do like..is fhat we finally have a show...where the main guy slowly gets to know the main girl, Li Hui Zhen, and falls in love with her, because of her..and not because they were childhood friends...yes..he is attracted to her friend Xia Qiao at first..but the way I see it..it is because he thinks that she is his childhood friend.

Is it just me, or do some parts feel really rushed...I really wish they would take their time more for certain parts and develop them more...the forest/mountain/ scene already happened in ep 13...I really hope that they won´t add some nonsense later ..like a lot of scenes when he becomes king and other women try to take her place..which was not in the novel..I know they changed a lot..but this would be a really negative point..
I also hope that they won´t draw out the time, where they are seperated even more ..it was almost too long in the novel..

It really shows that this drama was shot several years ago, because of the storyline is one often used and shown in lots of other dramas.
So far I have watched the first 9 episodes raw and I am seriously getting beyond pi**sed with Liu Xin Tong´s "mother"...she raised Liu Xin Tong all those years..and now she suddenly found her own "real" biological daughter that was switched in the hospital..and now no matter how spoiled or evil Ji Zhi Zhen behaves...she is "gold" in her eyes..and everything Liu Xin Tong does is wrong..she even slaps and hurts her.

Really..I am so over dramas where the "mothers" are like this...where is their own self worth..here we have the theme again..that blood is "thicker" than a lifetime of experiences and feelings..

I will try the next episodes, because I think Liu Xin Tong and Li Yao Nan are cute together..but if the next episodes stay the same..then just for the sake of my own mind, I will drop this drama.
